''Drake & Josh'' is an American sitcom that premiered on the Nickelodeon television network on January 11, 2004, which follows the lives of two stepbrothers. It stars Drake Bell and Josh Peck as stepbrothers Drake Parker and Josh Nichols, respectively. Both actors had played roles in ''The Amanda Show'', along with Nancy Sullivan, who appears as Drake's mother in the series. Jonathan Goldstein plays Josh's father, and Miranda Cosgrove plays Drake's little sister Megan. Reruns of ''Drake & Josh'' are, , appearing on Nickelodeon, YTV, and now on TeenNick at 6 p.m. on weekdays. The show ran from Sunday, January 11, 2004 to Sunday, September 16, 2007, although a second film entitled ''Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh'' debuted on Friday, December 5, 2008. Seasons 1, 2, and 4 were filmed at the Nickelodeon On Sunset in Hollywood, and Season 3 was filmed at Tribune Studios (now Sunset Bronson Studios; the Old Warner Brothers Studio) on the same boulevard.
Both brothers are often tortured by Drake's mischievous little sister, Megan Parker (Miranda Cosgrove), who often plays pranks on them. Megan makes fun of the boys right in front of their parents several times, more so towards the end of the series. Josh's father, Walter, is an inaccurate meteorologist, who can be described as unlucky and clumsy, similar to his biological son Josh. Audrey, Drake and Megan's biological mother, is stricter than Walter. Throughout the series, Drake and Josh go through many conflicts, mishaps and misfortunes. The conflicts are mainly social, often dealing with the relationship between the two brothers, school, work and other issues.

''Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh'' | December 19, 2008 | The film Music video "Jingle Bells" by Drake Bell |
The special aired on August 3, 2007. However, it is also considered an hour-long episode because it contained a laugh track and is treated like a typical episode with story elements based on films. The special's premiere brought in 5.8 million viewers. The premiere of the special broke the record for the most views of a premiere of a Nickelodeon movie. ''iCarly'''s ''iGo to Japan'' later broke that record, until the airing of ''Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh'', took the record back.
The TV film was broadcast in HD format, unlike the previous films ''Drake & Josh Go Hollywood'' and ''Drake & Josh: Really Big Shrimp''. It also featured Henry Winkler and MMA fighter Kimbo Slice.
The premiere of ''Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh'' broke the record of most viewers for the premiere of a Nickelodeon movie with 9.10 million viewers, a title previously held by ''iGo to Japan''.

Alyson Rae Stoner (born August 11, 1993) is an American actress, dancer and singer. Stoner is known for her roles in ''The Suite Life of Zack & Cody'' (as Max), ''Cheaper By The Dozen'' and ''Cheaper By The Dozen 2'' (as Sarah Baker), ''Step Up'' and ''Step Up 3'' (as Camille Gage), and ''Camp Rock'' and Camp Rock 2 (as Caitlyn Gellar). She has been a background dancer for several stars, such as Missy Elliott, Eminem, Outkast and Will Smith. She is also known as the voice of Isabella in the Disney Channel series ''Phineas and Ferb''.
In 2006, she had a small film role in ''Step Up'' as Channing Tatum's younger sister, Camille. She currently provides the voice of Isabella Garcia-Shapiro and Jenny in the Disney Channel animated series ''Phineas and Ferb''. Stoner came up with Isabella's catchphrase "Whatcha doin'?" In 2008, she starred in the Disney Channel Original movie ''Camp Rock'' as Caitlyn Gellar, an aspiring music producer. Her reception in Camp Rock was particularly strong, with various media outlets suggesting it was about time she played a main character role, having backed up for other big names such as Will Smith and Hannah Montana.
Stoner starred as Alice McKinley in the movie ''Alice Upside Down'', based loosely on the Alice series, particularly ''The Agony of Alice'', by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor. This was her second starring role, and, according to an interview that appears on the direct-to-DVD release, she states that this was the first time she has had to appear in every scene in a movie.
In 2010, Stoner appeared in the third ''Step Up'' film; ''Step-Up 3-D'', opposite Adam Sevani. She reprised the role of Camille Gage, Tyler's younger sister. Stoner uploaded a video onto her official YouTube page of her final dance rehearsal, which introduced other cast members.
In 2010 Stoner guest-starred in the TV series ''House'' as a skater.
Stoner is working with record producers, songwriters and a vocal coach in order to focus on transitioning her style of voice, from "kiddie-pop" into a more soulful pop vibe with a little alternative edge, so she can start working on her first studio album. On April 4, 2010, Stoner posted a video to her YouTube Channel announcing the release of her debut single, "Flying Forward" on April 20, 2010. Alyson Stoner also released an EP called Beat the System. It is a mix of disney songs and also some of her own songs. It has five original songs.
1) “Sweet” — An infectious blend of syrupy sweet confession
2) “Lookin For Love” — A proclamation of self-respect and confidence in perfect timing.
3) “Beat The System” — A hard-hitting, ambitious groove that won’t settle until justice is served.
4) “Hello Again” — Inspired by Faith Hill, a ballad reeking of vulnerability and untold stories, with a new spin of electronic production.
5) “Almost Home (Bonus Track)” unapologetically laced with honesty, hope, and a world-changing/death-defying message.
In the summer of 2008, she appeared in the Disney Channel Games as a member of the Blue Lightning Team along with Kiely Williams, Demi Lovato, Roshon Fegan, her ''Camp Rock'' castmates, Shin Koyamada, Cole Sprouse and several overseas Disney Channel actors. Stoner has also appeared in ''Wii Fit'' related videos on the Nintendo Channel on the Wii video game console demonstrating how to do balance exercises. She voiced the character Kairi for the video game ''Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories'', and both Xion and Kairi in ''Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days''.

In addition to acting, Bell has a growing career as a musician, and co-wrote and performed the theme song to ''Drake & Josh'', entitled "Found a Way". In 2005 he independently released his debut album, ''Telegraph''. His second album, ''It's Only Time'', was released in 2006 after signing with Universal Motown.
He starred as Timmy Turner in the live-action TV-movie adaptation of its hit animated series ''The Fairly Odd Parents'', ''A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner!'', released in 2011.
Bell has described his music as being heavily influenced by The Beatles and The Beach Boys, with the Beatles being his main influence. He says that two of his other influences are Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly.
In 2005, Bell performed with Hawk Nelson in a video for the Hawk Nelson song called "Bring 'Em Out," which was featured in the movie ''Yours, Mine and Ours''. Bell and then-band-mates Michael Corcoran (Backhouse Mike) and C.J. Abraham (The Super Chris), worked on music for ''Drake & Josh'', ''Zoey 101'', and ''iCarly''.
On October 16, 2007, the Radio Disney single edit version of his song "Makes Me Happy", was released on iTunes. This was the second single for Bell's album ''It's Only Time''. He also wrote with band-mates Michael Corcoran (Backhouse Mike), and C.J. Abraham (The Super Chris), and sang the theme song for the show ''iCarly'', "Leave It All to Me," with Miranda Cosgrove. The music video for the song premiered on May 24, 2008. Bell has recorded a theme song featuring Sara Paxton for his movie ''Superhero Movie'' called "Superhero! Song". He performed some Christmas songs in the ''Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh'' movie.
A DVD entitled "Drake Bell In Concert" was released on December 16, 2008. The video was unable to crack the 2008 or 2009 Top 100. The DVD contains footage of him and his band live on stage while they toured in Mexico, in October 2008. It also features 2 new songs and 5 covers, all of which are exclusive to the DVD.
The ''Live In Concert'' DVD featured new music for the first time since 2006's ''It's Only Time''; "Sea Song" and "All Alone at the Disco". He released a preview of a Spanglish edit of "All Alone at the Disco".
In 2009, Bleu uploaded a new track "Yesterday's Fool" to his SoundCloud page that he wrote/produced with Bell.
In 2010, Bell released a video showing him and Toby Gad working on a new song "Nevermind". A behind-the-scenes video of the making of the music video for a new song "Our Love" was uploaded on Bell's Official YouTube Channel in 2010. The official music video for "Our Love" appeared on YouTube soon after.
In March 2011, Bell released a 1:00 clip of the music video for a new song "Terrific", with a sneak preview of the studio version of the song.
On May 18, 2011, an official music video for the new song "You're Not Thinking" was released on YouTube, the video already airing heavily in Latin and South America (MTV Mexico Top 10).
A new single, "Terrific", was released on June 14, 2011, and was also included on an EP titled ''A Reminder'', released on June 28, 2011, also featuring the songs "You’re Not Thinking", "Big Shot" and "Speak My Mind". The EP was produced by John Fields, who previously worked with Rooney, Jimmy Eat World, Selena Gomez, the Jonas Brothers, and Bleu. Bell said he decided to release ''A Reminder'' because he hasn't put out new music in a few years and "a full album will probably not happen until next year."

Dr. Joshua F. Drake is a musicologist and hymnist at Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania. His research, writing and presentations primarily analyze the structure of 15th century Latin Christian motets, which are a category of choral musical compositions. Drake is notable for his research and papers that challenge commonly held views regarding the relationship between words and music in motets of the late 15th century, as well as his discoveries related to the origins of the Buonaparte family. He also serves on the editorial advisory board for "The Quad" Magazine.
While the earliest motets originated during the 13th century, the relationship between words and music in 15th century is particularly significant in the study of music because it coincides with the Protestant Reformation, which completely reordered Western society and had a profound influence on the evolution of music.
==Education==
Drake makes this association because of the emblems' similarity to the Buonaparte coat of arms.
The partbooks he analyzed consist of 49 Italian, 24 French secular and 13 Latin sacred musical compositions from early composers such as Josquin, Heinrich Isaac, Sebastiano Festa and Bernardo Pisano and have been essential in reconstructing the life of Pisano.
Drake also suggests that the association with the Buonaparte family helps to explain the geographical disputes that exist due to the partbooks having a Roman binding yet a Florentine script and Florentine paper. He makes this further assertion in part because the Buonaparte family was Florentine but Jacopo Buonaparte spent a great deal of time in Rome, in addition to the coat of arms in the partbooks being so similar to those of the Buonapart family.
