The Soldano Lucky 13 is two amplifiers in one box -- a sparkling, super luscious, "vintage" sounding clean amp combined with a rich, singing, harmonic-laden, high gain amp for the best of both worlds. A footswitch is provided for effortless noise-free switching between the two channels, and both channels share the added benefit of a tube-driven spring reverb -- yes that's correct, super lush tube-driven spring reverb with INDEPENDENT controls for both channels! From super-glassy clean, reverb-drenched Surf tones to drop-dead cool "roomy" Jimmy Page sounds ala early Zeppelin, the Lucky delivers the goods! 50 or 100 Watts, Head or Combo Soldano 50 Watt Lucky 13 Head http://bit.ly/YHkgH3 Soldano 50 Watt Lucky 13 Combo http://bit.ly/YHkr54 Soldano 100 Watt Lucky 13 Head http://bit.ly/...
This is a very detailed interview of Michael J. Soldano Jr., founder/owner of Soldano Custom Amplification in Seattle, Washington. Blues City Music has been Mike's largest dealer for many years and we decided to go to Seattle, check out the shop which includes a serious antique car collection, fabrication gear, and of course, the Amps. We cover the history of Soldano and how any player regardless of ability can not only afford but play any of his handmade boutique amplifiers. READ ME: Folks, enjoy this shoot-out between the Jet City JCA100H and the Soldano Hot Rod 50+ using my Ed Roman Quicksilver Guitar. Regarding the amps ... here's the story the way I understand it : The Soldano Hot Rod has the magical SLO circuit in it. It only differs from the Soldano SLO by having a different transformer. The JCA100H also has the SLO circuit in it. So, for all intense and purposes - both of these amps have the SLO circuit in it ... so this shoot-out is fair. USA SLO circuit vs. Import SLO circuit. Power differences explained in the video. VOTE & DECIDE - which do you like best? COMMENT BELOW!!! (Also comment below what shoot-out you'd like to see next!) The SLO is running on Groove Tube KT66 power tubes and has a combination of JJ and Sovtek preamp tubes. The Peavey is running on the stock Ruby 6L6 power tubes and a mix of various preamp tubes (EH, Tung-Sol RI, RFT, Ei.) The cab is a Marshall 1960BV with the stock "Marshall" labeled Vintage 30 style Celestion speakers. As usual, both amps sound killer. LOL...
Here's a little clip of those three amps. The settings were almost identical on all three amps (it might look a bit different on the Soldano, but those go to eleven, "6" is what's "5" on the other amps, "11" is what'd be "10", the pots are built in slightly rotated clockwise compared to the other amps...so I adjusted the settings on the soldano to match the settings one the other amps...I was using the same settings on all three amps (well, bass and treble was a tiny bit higher on the 5153..by accident). EXCEPTION: the gain and volume knobs were adjusted to have approximately the same amount of gain and volume on all three amps. As you can hear they all sound fairly similar, the 5150 and 5150III sound almost identical in this clip. The Soldano seems to have smoother and thicker mids an...

What will my world be like
When I say goodbye
Will you cry at all
Will everybody know who vanished now
Whose light burned out that night
All alone or deep love shown
A sinner seeking a saint come down
Will I feel life the day
When the drapery falls
The grim reaper calls
To take me home
What will I see / who be
When the cold takes my hand
Will I understand
I ever can't be free
Will my shadow ever disappear
Will I fear my fate
When the never calls forever
Will you listen to my words?
Will I feel life the day
When the drapery falls
The grim reaper calls
To take me home
What will I see / who be
When the cold takes my hand
Will I understand
What it means to be happy
I ever can't be free
Will I choose the day
My last breath fades away
Will it set my soul free
Will a new world welcome me?
Will I feel life the day
When the drapery falls
The grim reaper calls
To take me home
What will I see / who be
When the cold takes my hand
Will I understand
What it means to be happy
