Republican Senator Marco Rubio - A Phony Cuban "Exile" On Main Street
Clip from October 27, 20011, MSNBC News with Chris Jansing where she interviews Washington Post columnist Peter Wallsten about the apparent contradictions and embellishments by Republican Senator (and VP wannabe) Marco Rubio regarding his "sexy" life narrative that he's the product of Cuban "exile" parents (as opposed to just being the son of ordinary immigrants). Rubio - just a phony Cuban "Exile" on Main Street.

Miami: home to the largest Cuban exile community
Miami: home to the largest Cuban exile community. Is Fidel Castros Cuban regime in trouble? The signs are'nt too encouraging. Under international pressure, the Castro brothers have released dozens of political prisoners this year and faced with bankruptcy, the Cuban state has also sacked 500000 government officials. Fidel Castros return to the political mainstream after a 4 year absence has been marked with a series of sensationalistic statements. In Miami, home to the largest Cuban exile community, 800000 Cuban-Americans believe the cracks are beginning to show and time for change has finally arrived... www.france24.com

DN! Ann Louise Bardach on Cuban Exile Carriles and Her Book "Without Fidel" 1
Journalist Ann Louise Bardach on her new book Without Fidel, Cuban Exile Luis Posada Carriles and Fidel and Raul Castro Luis Posada Carriles is accused of masterminding the 1976 bombing of a Cuban airliner that killed all seventy-three people on board, and he has publicly admitted ties to a series of hotel bombings in Cuba in 1997. In 2000, he was arrested in Panama City for plotting to blow up an auditorium where Fidel Castro would be speaking. Despite his record, Luis Posada Carriles is currently living freely in Miami. He is awaiting trial in Texas early next year on charges of immigration fraud and lying to authorities about his involvement in the hotel bombings. A new book by award-winning investigative journalist Ann Louise Bardach provides an insiders view on the case against Posada. Bardach first interviewed Posada in 1998 for the New York Times in one of his only in-depth interviews.
