They came out amazing! They print faster than anybody out there: rushtshirts.com Directed and Edited by Joe Penna youtube.com Animation and Sound by Billy Reid: youtube.com Watch Billy's Behind-The-Scenes Video: www.youtube.com Get T-Shirts like ours here: usverytasteful.spreadshirt.com TECHNICAL EXPLANATION FOR GEEKS LIKE US: We changed shirts over 100 times each, taking individual pictures of each unique shirt. The designs on the shirts are not photoshopped. They are real shirts for each frame of animation. The video was exported at 30fps, while the T-shirt animation moves at 6fps (with a few exceptions where it moves faster) So, for each shirt, we took 5 pictures, so the animation of us (Rhett&Link) moves at 30fps, but the T-shirt animations move a bit slower. There are a few places where the motion seems so smooth that it looks like video. That's because, in those parts, there was no changing in T-shirts, and Joe used burst mode to capture the frames, making it look very smooth. ------------------ Check out our other Youtube channel, where we upload random videos from our phones: youtube.com ------------------- FOLLOW us on TWITTER! Fold a Shirt
Here is an English version of how to fold a shirt Origami style. I show both short and long sleeve... I should also note, I first saw this a couple years ago watching the Japanese style folding. I had a hard time figuring it out and when I finally did, I wanted to share how simple it was, but in English!

How an Engineer folds a T-Shirt
How an Engineer folds a T-Shirt
I know what I'm doing this weekend UPDATE: To the sudden explosion of people who commented on this, allow me to clarify a few things. I'm not an engineer, I am a nerd and do like making odd stuff like this occasionally. I made one of these devices using this vid and posted it up here so a mate of mine in Canada could see it. To the people leaving rather idiotic comments about me needing a life, to each his own, but someone did this in plastic and is probably making millions. I didn't make the video, something I should have clarified, I don't own the company shown, and yes I know they use em in department stores, that would be where I got the idea of making my own, seeing as this probably took bit of nutting out to make I think it qualifies as engineering, as most engineers I know like complex solutions to simple problems Lastly, it's a bit of fun. Remember that? Or is a pre-requisite to have all whimsy forcibly extracted when you get an internet connection?

Cut up the Back of your T-Shirt - Simple DIY Tutorial
Cut up the Back of your T-Shirt - Simple DIY Tutorial
Simple tutorial for an easy way to cut up your t-shirts. Reconstruct old, boring t-shirts by cutting strips into a "V" shape on the back of your t-shirt. Just learn the basic weave, it's so easy! Your own diy style shirt :) Step 1 Cut the neck off - Follow the original seam so your cut will be even. Cut 1in wider than the original neckline for a roundneck. Cut 1.5-2in wider than original neckline for a wide, boatneck or off the shoulder neckline. Step 2 Fold the back of the shirt in half - Match up the shoulder seams so it is even. Step 3 Decide the shape of the "V" that you want. The wider, or deeper the V, the sexier and more revealing the shirt. Use a rule to mark where you'll be cutting. Step 4 Cut thin strips - about a finger width all the way down. Careful not to cut too low or you'll have a hard time tying a knot in step 7. Step 5 Stretch out the fabric to roll edges. Take each strip that you cut and pull it out so it turns into a thin and even strip. Step 6 Weave - take the second strip and put it under and over the first strip. Still holding onto the second strip, take the third strip and place it under and over the second strip. Continue all the way to the bottom. Make sure you didn't miss any strips before doing the next step because you can still undo and redo the weave at this point. Step 7 Knot - when you're holding onto the last loop at the very bottom of the V, take scissors and cut the loop in half. Double knot both of them to the previous loop to hold ...
