to be honest, i have been driving stoned all my adult life and every single accident or damage i caused with my car (nothing serious so far) happened while i was 100% sober.

i can't even imagine how one could be dangerous when driving under the influence of mj. maybe inexperienced 16 year olds who fall asleep behind the wheel or who drank and did some coke or whatever in addition to smoking pot.

in my experience, most stoned people start thinking "damn, i'm high. i better drive carefully and watch out." and then they start driving more carefully than most sober people.

IMHO it's not until you add alcohol and/or other substances that you start losing the feeling of how much control you have over your body. driving while stoned is at least as safe as driving sober.

just mention reddit somewhere in a conversation and by the reaction of your conversation partner you'll KNOW if it is a redditor or not.

usually there's so much going on in my life (bassist in 2 bands and audio engineer) that i don't have time to think my life is boring, but every few months i think that i have accomplished nothing in my life.

this is mostly when there's few gigs for my bands to play and few festivals to engineer.

but when the depression goes away i remember how many wonderful musicians i have already either played or worked with, which big names already shook my hand and thanked me for giving them a good monitor sound, how many, many, many, many, many people know me and greet me that i just can't associate to a name or backstory.

to answer your question: yes, regularly. even though i KNOW most of the time that i am leading a very interesting life.

I treat children the same way I treat adults (but not as adults). Like with adults, there is a certain (admittedly rather high) percentage of idiots that I just don't want to have anything to do with. If I like someone, I treat them with respect and try to have a nice time with them, regardless of their age. With kids, like with adults, you sometimes just have to adapt to what they find funny/interesting.

when i was 11 i wanted to be able to play nirvana songs because i liked them, so i learned to play the guitar

when i was 14 i knew that i would want to live as a musician.

i'm almost 30 now and i'm only halfway there. only a little more than half of the money i make comes from music.

who knows how far i would be now if my dad had insisted that i learn something useful for my future AND my dream (audio engineer) when i was 15 instead of when i was 20?

when i listened to your first post, i thought the drums sounded like v-drums, or as if they were programmed with sampled drum sounds. this version sounds more like recorded with a real drum set. that's why i love me some additional room mics when the room i'm recording in sounds nice.

i tried some file types that i expected to work after seeing dropdo could handle even ai and psd files:

swf flash files, odt and ods text and spreadsheet documents from open office, rtf, and 3gp (video) don't "have a handler for this type of file yet"

oh, and for some reason there's an internal server error everytime i try to upload a txt file

but i am still impressed from what file types dropdo does handle. good job!

i hope that you are crazy enough and have the resources and support that you'll someday be able to make your site view nearly EVERYTHING. like start an in-browser java emulator for nes or c64 (or whatever) rom files, dosbox or some kind of light windows emulator for exe files, show the contents (file list+info) of zip, rar and other compressed file formats and disk image formats.

but that can wait...
