GMA Records, created in the last quarter of 2003, is a records company that releases music albums, and many of the albums have been platinum and gold record award albums.^[1] In 2005 GMA Records released a film titled "Let the Love Begin" on DVD and VCD, and when that was such a success they succeeded it with more titles such as "Lovestruck" and "Deathrow".^[1]

Janno Ronaldo Gibbs (born September 16, 1969) is a Filipino singer-songwriter and actor–comedian. He is a regular host of GMA Network television shows SOP Rules, Nuts Entertainment, Eat Bulaga, Kakasa Ka Ba Sa Grade 5?, and Power of 10 . He played as Geron Agular in Codename: Asero. Gibbs started out in 1986 as one of the members of the teen variety show That's Entertainment on GMA Network.

Gibbs released a Vicor Music single called "Miss". His recordings include "Ipagpatawad Mo", "Ikaw Lamang,", "Fallin'" and other ballads.

He was cast in a musical play, Kenkoy Loves Rosing.

Gibbs then played some minor film roles for Viva Films. Gibbs was co-host of the TV show "Small Brothers" in 1990.

Yasmien Yuson Kurdi (born 25 January 1989 in San Juan, Metro Manila), is a Filipina-Chinese-Lebanese award-winning Filipina singer, songwriter and actress. She was one of the Final Four in the first season of StarStruck, a reality-based talent search show by GMA Network in the Philippines where she finished first runner up. She bagged the title of the Philippines' Pop Sweetheart and known for the roles of Mira in the hit fantasy series Encantadia, Salve Dizon de Leon in the remake of Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita, Shayne Rodrigo in the hit remake Saan Darating Ang Umaga? a role originated by Maricel Soriano.

Early life[link]

Yasmien Kurdi grew up in Kuwait, and was there with her family during the Gulf War. Kurdi is a devout member of the Iglesia ni Cristo and was a member of the junior choir in her church before her StarStruck rise to fame. She studied elementary in Jabriya Indian School, Angelicum College during high school and currently taking up Nursing at New Era University. Her early career included modeling for Candy, Seventeen, and MOD magazine. She was also one of the finalists in ABS-CBN's ASAP Pond's Soft Skin Search wherein she lost over the Jaboom Twins. In 2009, Kurdi starred in an ad promoting vegetarianism for PETA ASIA-PACIFIC.^[1][2]

In May 2007 after her success in Bakekang series as "Charming", Yasmien starred in Pati Ba Pintig ng Puso with JC de Vera. Yasmien plays as Jenna, a maid who has an eye on her employer's grandson. On its press conference, GMA Network crown her as its GMA Drama Princess.^[3] On September 10, 2007 Yasmien will star again with JC de Vera in Pasan Ko Ang Daigdig, which originally stars Sharon Cuneta in 1987. After their huge success as loveteam in Pati Ba Pintig ng Puso, GMA trusted them both to star in Sine Novela.^[4]

The network gave them an adaptation of another Sharon Cuneta movie entitled Babangon Ako't Dudurugin Kita.^[5] The series crushed its rival My Girl. On the last quarter of 2008, she led the remake of Saan Darating Ang Umaga?^[6] which garnered primetime ratings though it is on afternoon. The Sine Novela is a top rater and the all time highest Sine Novela in National TV Ratings, never beaten by Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin? which held the Mega Manila only.

She then appeared on Dear Friend: Madrasta^[7] which topped the week-end daytime ratings. After the said stint, she starred on SRO Cinemaserye for the suspense drama Suspetsa.

In 2010, Yasmien was picked up on the GMA Network fairy tale television series Grazilda^[8] as the villainous for the first time, co-starred by Glaiza de Castro and Ms. Cherie Gil.

In 2011 Yasmien joined the epic series Amaya for a multi episode guest arc playing Apila.

Kurdi a strict vegetarian and is also part of People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Asia-Pacific’s television commercial to promote vegetarianism. On November 9, 2007 Kurdi posed inside a cage while holding a sign that said: "Liberate your diet. Go vegetarian."^[9]

In 2005 Yasmien release her first debut album which is entitled In the Name of Love under GMA Records. She bug her first single "I Know" (which was used as a Filipino soundtrack of Korean teledrama "Sweet 18", aired of course by GMA) followed by "In the Name of Love" and "Umaambisyon" in the same year. In 2007 she release again her second album called Love Is All I Need with her singles "Candlelight Romance", "Goodbye", "Kisapmata", "One Day", "Take It or Leave It", "Even If" and "Love Is All I Need".

Maricris Yu Garcia (born September 26, 1987 in Caloocan City, Manila, Philippines), is a singer from the Philippines, best known for winning Pinoy Pop Superstar Year 3. She first auditioned in Pinoy Pop Superstar Year 1, but did not become a finalist. Two years later, she won with her rendition of Barry Manilow's "One Voice"^{[citation needed]} at the Grand Finale held in Araneta Coliseum. She was the 3rd Pinoy Pop Superstar champion. Her voice is distinctly similar to the Divine Diva Zsazsa Padilla's voice, so she has been given the title of the "Divine Princess".^{[citation needed]}

She is taking up BS Tourism to her school in La Consolacion College - CALOOCAN her province is in Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

Jolina Magdangal-Escueta (born Maria Jolina Perez Magdangal, November 6, 1978) is a Filipina actress and singer. She is mostly known to be a pop icon. During the 1990s, she was mostly known as a household name of ABS CBN as part of the weekday afternoon children gag variety show Ang TV which was known as a homegrown show with the most talented young actors. She was cast on the '90s Saturday afternoon TV series Gimik with ex-leading man Marvin Agustin from 1997 to 2000. Her last TV series with her home network was Labs Ko Si Babes (1999–2000) a primetime weekday sitcom with Magdangal as the main character.

Her popularity was mostly known for her success in business. In the fashion industry she is known for having her own doll inspired by her in designs; it was known as the "Pinoy Barbie of the '90s" and had rapid sales. She has a mezzo-soprano three octave voice.

In 2002, she was part of GMA-7's Sunday variety show SOP. In 2003, Jolina Magdangal moved to rival station, GMA 7. The network was revamped in 2003 with more primetime TV series; she was part of the primetime soap Narito Ang Puso Ko from 2003 to 2004. She was also part of the weekend afternoon drama Kahit Kailan.

In 2004, she was host of the reality television talent search popularly known as StarStruck (Philippine TV series) and StarStruck Kids. In 2007 she finished her hosting duties on the reality franchise.

She did a film titled Annie B, a remake of the 1980 film and popular song, under Viva Films with Dingdong Dantes as her leading man.

In 2005, she became part of the morning news program Unang Hirit until her hiatus in 2009. She was cast as Jasmine on the series Love to Love (TV series). In 2006, Magdangal was paired with leading man Marvin Agustin in the high rated primetime romantic comedy I Luv NY.

In 2008, she was a judge on Pinoy Idol. The show has not reported for another season or a cancellation. It paved her way as a comeback to afternoon weekend programming she was part of Dear Friend — letter writers send in stories about life and difficulties on love; she was host with Marvin Agustin. The series ended in 2010 and was nominated in many given bodied awards by Star Awards and PMPC throughout its run.

In 2009, she was part of Adik Sa'Yo. The primetime series became high rated and had a DVD release in October 2009, two months after its finale.

In 2010, she became part of the children's primetime series and sequel to the 2009 MMFF Best Picture Panday Kids; a fairy godmother on the primetime series Grazilda; and she became part of the revamp of S.O.P. renamed as Party Pilipinas.

In 2011, she became part of Iglot which served as a reunion for her and Claudine Barretto after 11 years.

In 2012, it was revealed that her fans club, Jolina the Eternal Fans Club is now headed by Ms. Vera Francine Maniego and Mr./Ms./Mrs. (unknown sex) Asia Maniego.

On November 21, 2011 she decided to tie the knot with vocalist Mark Escueta of the Philippine band Rivermaya at a garden wedding. She claims that she has known "Mark for much of [her] career" in a documentary of her wedding on December 4, 2011 on its GMA-7 SNBO block.
