King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies
King Faisal s devotion to Islam and its traditions were hallmarks of his life. King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies was born out of respect for our father_s strong beliefs and because of the significance we attach to Islamic culture and learning. Early Muslims were acclaimed for their advanced scholarship and sophisticated artistic abilities. They mastered techniques and innovated methods in an outstanding range of disciplines, including literature, philosophy, architecture, art, music, and the sciences. Islam inspired a sense of unity and purpose, unleashing collective and individual creativity and a thirst for knowledge. Today we are blessed with the rich fruits of these talents and intellectual journeys. The Prophet Muhammad extolled his followers to read and learn. The seeking of knowledge is incumbent upon all Muslims. Through our libraries, rare manuscripts, exhibitions, and lectures we seek to provide paths along which succeeding generations can claim the legacy of learning. New Islamic studies campus opens in Vienna
New Islamic studies campus opens in Vienna
The new campus for training of Islamic Studies teachers opened doors with an official ceremony. The event was attended by Austrian government representatives and diplomats. The purpose of the campus is to prepare its students to teach Islamic religious studies to children and high-school students: The new building will initially train 160 teachers in Islamic religious studies, but the school supervisors say the interest in the subject is growing among the Muslim community. The new building also has its own library and a big room for prayers: the opening of the school is seen as a right move to cater for a genuine need among the Muslim community in Vienna, whose students finally have the proper place and support for their Islamic studies The Islamic religious community, which has co-sponsored the establishment of the new campus, welcomed the start of its work. Amina Baghadjati, spokesperson for the Islamic Religious community, believes providing a proper learning and teaching environment for Islamic Studies is a step in the right direction. At present Austria has some 55000 registered Muslim high-school students who also attend Islamic Religious Studies. They are taught by a total of 410 teachers at about 2000 locations across the country - none of which has the capacity of the new campus. www.presstv.ir

Lord of The Worlds - Unity of Allah's Worship by Sheikh Tawfique Chowdhury Islamic Studies Course
Click On the link for more information about the course alkauthar.org Imagine entering Jannah without being taken to account. Imagine having your sins concealed from all of Mankind, not having to explain everything and being permitted to enter Jannah without any difficulty or humiliation! Do you know how? By perfecting your knowledge of tawḥīd and worship of Allah. Tawḥīd is the preoccupation of a Muslim in his life; he begins his life with it and he ends his life with it. His task in life is to establish Allah's oneness and the call to it. And we ask Allah to make the statement of tawḥīd (lā ilāha illa'llāh, 'there is no deity [worthy of worship] except Allah') our last words in this world and we ask Him to gather the Muslims upon the statement of tawḥīd. In this course you we will conduct a detailed study of Allah, our Creator Most High! You will learn about His worship, the testimony of faith and what it means for us, as well as how to purify and perfect your tawḥīd. We will discuss the many manifestations of shirk: how people commit the most heinous crime of associating partners with Allah, and how they seek to justify it under false pretexts. www.youtube.com
