The 24th of Zil-Hajj marks the anniversary of the auspicious occasion of Eid-e-Mubahila. This is the day of victory of Muslims over Christians. The event of Mubahila occurred in the 10th of Hijrah.
Najran was a fertile land located in the Northern mountaneous region of Yemen about 20 Kms from Sanaa. About 40,000 Christians inhabited the land divided into 73 small towns. They were idol worshipers historically just like the Arabs but a priest named Femeon, a constructor by profession, preached Christianity in the area of Najran and soon all the population converted to Christianity and Najran became a powerful center of activities of Christians. They also constructed a church and named it \'Kaba-e-Najran\'. They prayed and offered various offerings there which resulted in an annual income of about two hundred thousand Dinars which was used for the priest who lived and studied there...

Hari Raya Haji or Hari Raya Aidiladha which is celebrated on the 10th day of the Islamic month of Dhu al Hijjah, the 12th month in the Islamic calendar. The Mubahala challenge proposed by Muhammad against the Najran Christians was held on the 24th of the same month regarding the titles which were conferred by the God of Israel to Jesus Christ.
Prophet Abraham was called by God of Israel to sacrifice his only son on Mount Moriah at the present-day The Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem.
Although Muslims hold a different view than the Jews & Christians

The event of Mubahilah took place in the 9th year of Hijra. A deputation of 14 Christian (najran) scholars came to discuss the truth of Islam with the Holy Prophet (sa) Arguments were put forward by both sides. Several days went by The Christians did not listen to reason. Then Allah revealed the following verses: "Verily, the likeness of E'essa/Jesus with Allah is as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, then He said unto him:"Be, and he was" (This is ) the truth from your Lord (O Muhammad), so be not of those who doubt. And whoso disputes with you concerning him after the knowledge which has come unto you, say (unto them): "Come We will summon our sons and you your sons, and our women and you your women, and our 'selfs' and your 'selfs', and then will pray humbly (to the Lord) and invoke the curse of Allah upon those who lie. (The Holy Quran, 3:58,59 and 60 )Muhammad ordered that in a field outside Medina a thin black abaya be used as a shade between two trees. The Christian chiefs and dignitaries of Najran stood in orderly ranks on one side of the field while Muhammad, together with Ali, Fatimah, Hasan and Hussain stood on the other. There, Muhammad recited the tathir verse and addressed the Ahl al-Bayt. The accepted to pay jizya and agreed to come to terms[why?]. On behalf of Muhammad, Ali signed a peace treaty with the Christians.

Eid al-Mubahila is annual commemoration of the event of Mubahila occurred on 24th of Dhul-Hijja 9 Hijri corresponding to Wednesday, 6 April 631 CE., On this day when Muhammad and the Christians of Najran gathered to debate - and imprecate - each other.
The term mubahila in Arabic means "debate" but it has the additional meaning of "imprecate" (i.e., curse) as well.
The Christians were to annually offer twelve thousand exquisite clothes, a thousand mithqal of gold, and some other items to remain Christians under the umbrella of Islam. On the basis of the mubahila verse, Zamakhshari, Baidawi, Fakhruddin Razi and others regard Ali, Fatima, Hasan and Hussain superior to all other people and argue that Hasan and Hussain are the sons of the Prophet.

Hari Raya Haji or Hari Raya Aidiladha which is celebrated on the 10th day of the Islamic month of Dhu al Hijjah, the 12th month in the Islamic calendar. The Mubahala challenge proposed by Muhammad against the Najran Christians was held on the 24th of the same month regarding the titles which were conferred by the God of Israel to Jesus Christ.

A deputation of 14 Christian (najran) scholars came to discuss the truth of Islam with the Holy Prophet (sa) Arguments were put forward by both sides. Several days went by The Christians did not listen to reason. Then Allah revealed the following verses: "Verily, the likeness of E'essa/Jesus with Allah is as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, then He said unto him:"Be, and he was" (This is ) the truth from your Lord (O Muhammad), so be not of those who doubt. And whoso disputes with you concerning him after the knowledge which has come unto you, say (unto them): "Come We will summon our sons and you your sons, and our women and you your women, and our 'selfs' and your 'selfs', and then will pray humbly (to the Lord) and invoke the curse of Allah upon those who lie. (The Holy Quran, 3:58,59 and 60 )Muhammad ordered that in a field outside Medina a thin black abaya be used as a shade between two trees. The Christian chiefs and dignitaries of Najran stood in orderly ranks on one side of the field while Muhammad, together with Ali, Fatimah, Hasan and Hussain stood on the other. There, Muhammad recited the tathir verse and addressed the Ahl al-Bayt. The accepted to pay jizya and agreed to come to terms[why?]. On behalf of Muhammad, Ali signed a peace treaty with the Christians.
