Note: Audio muted is to protect the name of the hospital and names of individuals mentioned. Certain items are blocked which would help identify what hospital this is. My child who's is intellectually disadvantage had a visit at a DFW hospital when I was confronted by a hospital police officer with a gun and badge and two unarmed security agents. I don't want to try and be someone else and I will dress up the way I like. I suspect a staff member on the 4th floor called security because I was by myself wearing a Russian hat what is called a Ushanka in the lobby on the 4th floor. Because someone with a gun and a badge came up to me and confronted me while taking care of business on private property, I pulled out my cell phone to record the interaction with a hospital cop and security to protect myself. Nothing personal but I have the right to protect myself when being accused off suspicious even on private property when on business. Nothing personal. When the police officer came up to me he asked if I had business to take care of in the hospital not caught on video. I totally understand the hospital and I don't blame them. This is not to demonize the hospital for watching out for their own building and property. They have the right to protect there property but at the same time I have the right to protect myself. After the police officer verified my child's name I suspect happened, the officer came back to me and said "thank you for your cooperation" and left.
