Our great properties and easy to use site have made Stayz the number 1 way for Australians to book Holiday Rental Accommodation properties online in Australia. In the last twelve months over 430,000 nights have been booked through Stayz. On average, the site receives 550,000 monthly unique visitors, and has grown its inventory to over 30,000 holiday rental property listings in the last year. The sites are owned and operated by Fairfax Digital as part of Fairfax Media.

Our History

Stayz began in 2001 as a way for holiday home owners to list their own holiday properties online. By 2002 the venture had developed into national site, www.ozstays.com. Since 2002, the business has continued to grow into a portfolio of boutique and regional web sites, based around the national site, www.stayz.com.au.

In December 2005, Fairfax Media purchased the Stayz group of sites to add to its growing online division, Fairfax Digital. Fairfax Digital is Australia's leading provider of online news and classifieds websites, such as www.smh.com.au, www.theage.com.au, www.mycareer.com.au, www.domain.com.au, www.drive.com.au and www.rsvp.com.au. Fairfax Digital sites receive an audience in excess of 5 million unique visitors per month.

Stayz is an advertising website which allows property owners to list and promote holiday accommodation, and receive and manage enquiries in relation to their property. All property information is submitted by third parties and is displayed in good faith. (Please see Stayz Terms & Conditions).
