The ÉCOLE FRANÇAISE D'ATHÈNES hosted on 9 June 2009 a public presentation of issue 31 of the French journal Migrance which is focused on Greece and edited by Martin Baldwin-Edwards. Migrance is a tri-annual journal dedicated to the history of immigration in France and Europe, and published by Géneriques in Paris. The formal public presentation of this journal issue was made by two eminent Greek academics – Prof Antonis Liakos (University of Athens) and Prof Lois Labrianidis (University of Macedonia).

REGINE: Regularisations in Europe. Study on practices in the area of regularisation of illegally staying third-country nationals in the Member States of the EU
Martin Baldwin-Edwards was appointed scientific director of the REGINE project awarded to ICMPD in December 2007 to advise the European Commission DG JLS on regularisation policies and outcomes in 27 EU countries (plus the USA and Switzerland). The study was formally presented by Martin Baldwin-Edwards and Albert Kraler of ICMPD to the 27 EU governments in Brussels in December 2008 and the final copy published by the EC in January 2009.
