Alfa Romeo highlights

Alfa Romeo (or Alfa) are an Italian car maker, founded in 1910, long known for the sporty edge to all of the cars they make. A history in motorsport, with Le Mans wins and single make touring car series, creates technology that often finds it way to their road cars. The Alfa Romeo 147 small car won the prestigious European Car of the Year in 2001. The 156, which was the precursor to the current 159, won the same award in 1998. The Spider and GT sports cars are popular and have a very distinctive design. Recently the Alfa Mito was introduced as a supermini and has received a lot of praise for it's design, price and performance. Alfa is part of the giant Fiat Group, along with Ferrari and Maserati.
