Many respected stars of the Indian film entertainment industry such as choreographer Farah Khan (2007 film Om Shanti Om director) and Indian ghazal singer Jagjit Singh heralded him as a "great discovery" and remarked that Amanat Ali "goes beyond SaReGaMaPa Challenge 2007". Many say that a selection of his 13 performances over nine weeks (May-Oct 2007) included: "Hungama hai kyun", "Mitwa" and "Tujh se naraz nahin zindagi" were sung in a unique manner, with some claiming that his performances were better than the original. Amanat Ali, from Faisalabad/Pakistan, is the son of Pakistani singer Nazakat Ali. His two uncles, Hasan Sadiq and Sharafat Ali, religious eulogies (naats, noha, dhamals, and hamds). Dance Valley 2007
Dance Valley('The Woodstock of Dance') is an annual dance music festival held in the summer in Spaarnwoude, the Netherlands. The first edition was in 1994 when 8000 people attended (and in 2001 90000 visiters) . Dance Valley grew rapidly, both in duration and number of visiters. 2005 marked the first time the event lasted 3 days in the weekend with camping available for the concertgoers at the campsite... It rained. A record-breaking 53000 people attended that year. There were some big changes to the festival in 2006. Traditionally held the first weekend of August, due to colliding with another festival UDC (Dance Valley management company) brought the festival forward two weeks from the 14th to the 16th of July. Whilst this had little effect in terms of sales it did effect the last two hours of the festival when sun light was still visible on the horizon, this in turn effected the use of lighting with the lasers not being switched on till later. Dance Valley also played host to BMX, skate boarding and motorcycle competitions sponsored by LG. The back field HQ resided in was not used, instead a large tent towards the entrance was specially erected for the harder side of dance. The date for 2007 has been confirmed as the 14th of July. No longer a 3 day event UDC are returning to their roots and reopening the HQ field much to the delight of clubbers. Source: wikipedia

Sigur Ros - Heima Trailer
More information and pre-order is at: www.beggarsgroupusa.com XL Recordings is pleased to announce that Sigur Rós will break their two-year silence to release their first-ever film on November 20, 2007 and a companion album two weeks before on November 6, 2007. Filmed over two weeks during the Summer of 2007 when the band undertook a free tour of Iceland, 'Heima' stands as a colossal labour of love - not to say grand folly - typical of this most exacting of bands. 'Heima' (icelandic for "at home" or "homeland"), truly, shows Sigur Rós as never before. Whereas seeing the group live is normally a large-scale and sometimes overwhelming experience, making full use of lights and mesmeric visuals, 'heima' was always intended to reveal more of what was actually going on on stage. It does this via long-held close-ups and a rare intimate proximity, without ever once breaking the spell. 'Heima' was directed by dean deblois, a long-time fan of the band and director of the oscar-nominated animated feature 'lilo & stitch', using an icelandic crew. 'Hvarf-Heim', the companion album, is more cousin than sister release. It has two titles because it is in effect two separate, but complementary, entities, with -- get this -- two front covers and a limited edition run of two discs.

Cute Animals Baby Mice Pups at 2 Weeks
Critter Camp Exotic Pet Sanctuary's 2 week old baby mouse pups. The two mom's came in a batch of 10 rescued mice. They were pregnant when they came in and had their babies at the same time- so they all live together and the moms take turns caring for the babies. The off white tiny baby is the runt- it is so cute! The babies just opened their eyes this week and are exploring everywhere. The video of the moms and babies was in the travel cage while their big tank was being cleaned. Please remeber Critter Camp this holiday season - donations are needed for the care of the 200+ animals. See our site www.crittercamp.biz The music is the theme from Harry Potter
