She is the daughter of saxophonist Teddy Hill and R&B singer Bonnie Davis. Moore began her performing career in 1967 as a member of the original cast of the musical Hair along with Ronnie Dyson and Diane Keaton. Moore replaced Keaton in the role of Sheila. In 1970, Moore won a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical for her role in Purlie (she portrayed Lutiebelle). She would not return to Broadway afterwards until 1978 when she appeared (as Marsinah) with Eartha Kitt in Timbuktu!, but left the show after a few weeks and was replaced by Vanessa Shaw. "Theme From 'Shaft'", written and recorded by Isaac Hayes in 1971, was the funk-styled theme song to the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film, "Shaft". The theme was released as a single two months after the movie's soundtrack by Stax Records' Enterprise label (at the time owned by Paramount Pictures, which later released the 2000 version of "Shaft"). "Theme From 'Shaft'" won the 1972 Academy Award for Best Original Song, with Hayes not only becoming the first African-American to win that honor (or any Oscar in a non-acting category) but also becoming the first recipient of the award to both write and perform the winning song. The song has appeared in numerous television shows, commercials, and other movies, including the 2000 remake of "Shaft" starring Samuel L. Jackson, for which Hayes re-recorded the song without making any changes to it. They were working at the same office in Ternopil. Each of them had some experience in making music in different bands. Once they decided to play for fun and make a great song Pomidory (Tomatoes). After that boys realized, that the new band was started. It was hard to play rock music without drums, so a new member of group appeared Oleksandr Guns Davosyr. They recorded their first single Pomidory. After that boys invited one more member Vitaliy Luka Shostak for rhythm guitar. The new band was asked to play at the concerts of local rock club. When they came up on the stage, they called themselves Los Colorados. It happened on 24th April in 2006, so this day considered as the birthday of the band. Soon Los Colorados became popular among the youth of Ternopil district. The boys were invited to other towns to play in local clubs, open air concerts, music festivals. As a composer, Xiaotian was the Winner of the 6th Annual International Composition for Orchestra Competition, LA, California, his orchestral work was premiered by the Asia America Symphony Orchestra conducted by David Benoit. He has collaborated and composed for both the Royal Ballet School and the London Contemporary Dance School, The Place. Frank Zappa tried to define "underground" by noting that the "mainstream comes to you, but you have to go to the underground." In the 1960s, the term underground was associated with the hippie counterculture of young people who had dropped out of college and their middle class life to live in an off-the-grid commune of free love and cannabis. The original version was recorded as a ballad and the video for the title premiered in March. "A Quien Quiero Mentirle" is one of two originals song included in the singer/songwriter and producer's latest CD and was composed by Anthony with the collaboration of Julio Reyes. This new tropical version was arranged by Angel "Cuco" Peña, who has worked in the past with Marc Anthony in the arrangement of songs in this style. "Iconos" debuted as number one in sales in the US, Spain, Mexico and other key Latin American markets, and remained in the top spot for three weeks in the US.
