Seven Fokker Dr.1 Triplanes of Jasta 11
Seven Fokker Dr.1 Triplanes of Jasta 11
The very rare sight of seven full-size WW1 Fokker Dr.1 Triplanes replicas in the air together. Each of these aircraft is painted to represent one of the aircraft/pilots that flew as part of Manfred von Richthofen's Jasta 11 in April 1918. As far as we know this is only the second time since 1918 that seven of these aircraft have been seen in the air together at one time (the first time was in 2007). -- www.aviationfilm.com Copyright © 2011Historical Aviation Film Unit This video material may not be reproduced in any form (except as an embedded video on any other website), without the written permission of the Historical Aviation Film Unit.

Flite Test - Fokker Triplane - REVIEW
Flite Test - Fokker Triplane - REVIEW
Flite Test - Fokker Triplane - REVIEW This week Flite Test finally releases it's super secret, long withheld, review of the HobbyKing Fokker Triplane. This plane has been teasing us from the background of other episodes for some time now. Josh and Josh give the low down on this not so PNP airplane. They give you the tips on what to fix to make it a puppy dog (Josh Scott, insert ARF here...) of a park flyer. Josh Bixler takes it for a test flight at the end of the show. Considering it has no canopy to lose, this should be one of his best on camera flights yet, right? Oh, and to keep the director happy, subscribe, subscribe, subscribe. -Fred Provost

Fokker D-VIII Run-Up
Fokker D-VIII Run-Up
Kermit cranks up the glorious 160-hp Gnome rotary engine in his Fokker D-VIII, which was truly music to our ears. Andy has chased out the last of the gremlins in the engine. Check out Rob Lock on the prop with Andy and Wayne on the tail—just to keep it on the ground for a full run-up. Listen to that rotary purr... then growl. Can't wait to see it fly SOON.

Fokker D.VII - WW1 German fighter 1918
Fokker D.VII - WW1 German fighter 1918
The Fokker D.VII was a German World War I fighter aircraft designed by Reinhold Platz of the Fokker-Flugzeugwerke. Germany produced around 3300 D.VII aircraft in the summer and autumn of 1918. The D.VII quickly proved itself to be a formidable aircraft. The Armistice ending the war specifically required Germany to surrender all D.VIIs to the Allies at the conclusion of hostilities. Surviving aircraft saw continued widespread service with many other countries in the years after World War I. For more info see: en.wikipedia.org This aircraft is one of the replicas originally built for the 1966 motion picture 'The Blue Max'. It is seen here painted in the colours of Johann Janzen of Jasta 6. -- www.aviationfilm.com Copyright © 2011Historical Aviation Film Unit This video material may not be reproduced in any form (except as an embedded video on any other website), without the written permission of the Historical Aviation Film Unit.
