Kofi Annan, the UN Special Envoy for Syria, stated in a French newspaper interview that his six-point plan to end the violence and death in Syria had yet to be successful. Annan also states that both the Syrian regime and opposition were unwilling to support Annan’s plan. However, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton states that Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad’s days are numbered while walking in the sidelines after attending a conference on Afghanistan in Tokyo.
Annan’s six point peace plan involves the slow unification of the Syrian regime and opposition. It involves having a Syrian-led political process to resolve all the concerns of the Syrian people, stop the fighting and violence, stop the use of heavy weapons in the crackdown in population centers, ensure that everyone gets help in health supplies, food and other goods that will be needed.
The last part of the six point peace plan is to achieve the national unification government. The new government is include members of the current presidency and members of the opposition to making the new government. However, the Syrian opposition, in a recent meeting in Arabia, mentioned that they will never work with anyone from the regime as they have “blood on their hands”.
Recently, the Syrian regime demonstrated their military capability on national television with the demonstration of a live missiles launch from ships and choppers to targets.
The efforts of Kofi Annan towards diplomacy is seen by many as the most serious action of the UN to stop the violence in Syria.

Post investigation states that the injuries of 35 people after the accident in the Saudi Railways Organization (SRO) train were caused by broken and faulty communication and control cables.
The SRO train carrying 332 passengers was derailed in the Al- Khurais junction about 70km from Riyadh. The SRO trains often journey from Dammam to Riyadh. The derailing has injured thirty-five people.
Post-investigation results imply that some people stole parts parts of the communication and control cables in the line. This resulted to severe system damages. The failure of the train to respond to direct commands made the entire accident possible.
SRO’s president Abdul Aziz Al-Hoqail canceled his US vacation to take part in the investigation and supervise the entire situation. The acting SRO president, Hamed Al-Abdul Qader, stated that the SRO was very strict with regards to negligent drivers. He ensured that if any foul play was found with the train driver, they were to be dismissed from their jobs, imprisoned, fined or had been cut salaries.
All of their drivers, staff and other officials are heavily-trained before they are licensed to handle trains. Instruction manuals and guidebooks were also provided for the reference of both new, inexperienced and professional train drivers.
The train is scheduled to be back on track by two days.

Many ways in which you could use the refunds to help you through the fiscal and economic crisis in the United Kingdom exist and will be discussed in this article.
1. Energy Bills
One thing you probably hate right now is the ever-rising energy bills. Given that earth’s resources are slowly deteriorating with some inefficient machines and methods, the electric bills you receive per month rises continuously. You can use your PPI to pay for your overdue bills and give you some financial ‘breathing space’ for utility bills and savings to help your finances in the future.
2. Business
Today, there are many businesses that require less and less capital, especially if it involves the Internet. You can start a social media or search engine optimization services. These are two businesses that require you less capital. If you can add more to your initial business capital, you can start a small business, in which, with proper business practices, you can make grow. Ten thousands of pounds is not quite a small amount, but an amount enough to begin a business.
3. Savings
Save your money and spend it wisely on a later time. In the slow economic growth of the United Kingdom and the impending troubles brought about by the growing Euro Crisis, it is important that you have money on hand to use for emergencies. Your PPI refunds can help you get through financial problems you might potentially face in the future. You can also invest it in insurances that you are eligible for and not sold to you by commission-based financial advisers.
