In the long-awaited sequel to Rocket Matter at ABA Techshow Part 1, in this episode we roam the exhibit floor and come up with great interviews and a lot of fun. First we interview Ronald Staudt, legend in legal technology, former show chair, and law professor at Chicago-Kent. He gives a some background and context for the current ABA Techshow. Next we check in with Finis Price (@finisprice), personal injury lawyer from Louisville and writer of TechnoEsq. He speaks about his sessions on the Techshow Mac Track and his recent article on iPhone vs Droid in the ABA Journal. We see a number of folks competing in our flying cow contest (@allisonshields, @jdtwitt, @finisprice, Aviva Cuyler) some successful, some not so much. Carolyn Elefant (@carolynelefant) of My Shingle talks about her many exciting projects, including an upcoming trip to Paris to talk about marine renewable energy at UNESCO. We were blown away by Carolyn's "other side" - her work is fascinating and puts her in the middle of another transforming industry! We then survey floor schwag, including cookies, foam fingers, cardboard cutouts, and an exciting run-in with Total Attorneys and trigger-happy Chelsey Lambert (@chelseylambert). Kim Beyrent from Rocket Matter nearly takes Larry Port's (@larryport) head off with a Total Attorneys schwag gun. Ben Stevens (@themaclawyer) talks about how he got into blogging (which fueled his rise to legal technology stardom) and his talks at Techshow.
