This Joyful Eastertide - King's College Cambridge.
The choir of King's College, Cambridge sing the rousing Easter hymn This Joyful Eastertide with words by George R Woodford. The tune is a Dutch melody from David's Psalmen, Amsterdam, 1685, arranged Charles Wood.
This joyful Easter-tide,
Away with care and sorrow!
My Love, the Crucified,
Hath sprung to life this morrow.
Had Christ, that once was slain,
Neer burst His three day prison,
Our faith had been in vain;
But now hath Christ arisen,
Arisen, arisen, arisen!
My flesh in hope shall rest,
And for a season slumber;
Till trump from east to west,
Shall wake the dead in number.
Had Christ, that once was slain,
Neer burst His three day prison,
Our faith had been in vain;
But now hath Christ arisen,
Arisen, arisen, arisen!
Deaths flood hath lost his chill,
Since Jesus crossed the river:
Lover of souls, from ill
My passing soul deliver.
Had Christ, that once was slain,
Neer burst His three day prison,
Our faith had been in vain;
But now hath Christ arisen,
Arisen, arisen, arisen!

Happy Easter !
This joyful Eastertide,
Away with sin and sorrow!
My Love, the Crucified,
Hath sprung to life this morrow.
Had Christ, that once was slain,
Ne'er burst his three-day prison,
Our faith had been in vain:
But now hath Christ arisen.
My flesh in hope shall rest,
And for a season slumber:
Till trump from east to west,
Shall wake the dead in number.
Had Christ etc.
Death's flood hath lost its chill,
Since Jesus cross'd the river:
Lover of souls, from ill

CounTéBas | This joyful Eastertide
Men's Vocal Ensemble "CounTéBas" of Gorinchem NL was a 12 strong choir, directed by Jeroen Bal, in 2005-2006.
In 2006 CounTéBas was invited by the Dutch broadcasting network EO to participate in their Easter Special of "Nederland Zingt" (the Netherlands Sings) on Dutch TV. The show is normally programmed with big Dutch choirs and community singing: to hear the music of the small all male ensemble CounTéBas was a real treat. The two Easter songs uploaded here are still shown on Dutch TV.

Also visit the memorial site for the choir that preceded CounTéBas from 1988-2004, "Stadsknapenkoor Gorcum" (City of Gorcum Boys Choir) and listen to their range of CD recordings).

"This joyful Eastertide", St. Bartholomew's Church
Offertory Anthem for the Second Sunday of Easter at St. Bartholomew's, an Episcopal church in New York City on May 1, 2011.
(#192 in the Hymnal 1982)
This "Easter carol" was originally written in Dutch as "Hoe groot de vrugten zijn" by Joachim Frants Oudaen in 1685, and was translated to English by George R. Woodward in the 19th century. It appears also in German as "Der schöne Ostertag" and in Norwegian as "Å gledesfylte stund." This tune name is "Vruechten", from a 17th-century Dutch hymnal, but this setting is by William H. Harris.
It's curious that this is actually considered a 'hymn' per se, since its wide melodic range and melismas can make it hard to sing. But perhaps it's this same decorated tune, coupled with is simple refrain, that has made it a truly joyful part of Easter.
