Can I make a gift in honor of someone else?

Contributions given in honor or in memory of individuals are a thoughtful way to celebrate shared values. To make a gift in tribute to a friend or loved one, click here. We will send a personalized card to the person you designate, informing her or him of your gift.

Does People For the American Way have a Monthly Giving program?

Does People For the American Way offer Youth or Student Memberships?

Yes. In keeping with People For the American Way's goal to identify and invest in young progressive leaders and activists, we offer a special youth and student membership rate of only $20 per year. Fill out this online form to join at the special student rate.

Is my donation to People For The American Way tax deductible?

Because we lobby state legislatures, Congress and the White House to protect freedom and democracy for all citizens, contributions or gifts to People For The American Way are not tax deductible as charitable contributions or as business expenses under IRC§162(e). Our affiliated educational organization, People for the American Way Foundation, is classified as a 501(c)(3) organization to which donations are tax-deductible. When changing an address, please include both the old and new addresses to ensure that you will not receive duplicate mailings. If you are receiving duplicate mailings, please use this form to contact Member Services. Include your full name and the address to which mailings are being sent.
