  I compared this with the Vasque Vista UltraDry, the Zamberlan Vioz GT, and the Timberland Chocorua Trail with Gore-Tex. I have average to slightly wide feet and (sadly) thick ankles. This boot is better suited for someone with average to narrow feet. It felt tight across the top compared to the other 3 boots. It was the least comfortable of the 4 I tried. It was also a little disappointing when it came to arch support. I have very high arches, and this boot just didn't make the cut for me. Nice sole, nice styling, just not supportive enough for me. The Timberland seemed to be a much better buy, and much more comfortable...just not a great sole like this boot has.

  Really cute shoe. I think the suede looks a little different than the picture at first glance but much better on than off. Fits true to size. I usually wear about 7-7 1/2 and fit comfortably with room for a sock in the 7. I agree that it can be a little tricky to get on but felt supported in it once on. I thought it more a gray taupe than a tan taupe. Really liked the opening of the shoe - added a little extra style to the bootie.

  I compared this with Vasque Vista, Zamberlan Vioz GT, & Lowa Renegade GTX Mid. I have average to slightly wide feet, and sad to say, cankles. The sole on this seemed a little thin compared to the others but otherwise, it was very supportive. It felt great on my high arches (better than the Vasque, which was a surprise). The ankle support was quite good. It felt like it would not require much break in time, much less than the Zamberlan, which was relatively stiff. For me, it was much more comfortable than the pricier Lowa Renegade. If you're on a budget, this is a great choice. If money is no object, the Zamberlan is the way to go.

  Nice style and fabric but half a size too small. I am a true 6.5 M and I ordered a 6.5 M but could hardly fit my foot into this shoe, hence ended up ordering a size 7! Definitely order 1/2 size bigger than your normal size.

  Ridiculously comfortable. They cradled my feet. They're pretty wide. I have another pair of Naots similar to these that I wear all the time. Stirling/chocolate color looked sharp and just slightly unusual. I had to return them though, because they were just a bit too snug around the ankle area. I'm currently retaining a lot of water though, so any un-swollen person could wear these easily.

  I thought these were a little narrow, and they are not nearly as cool as they look online. In person they kind of look like bowling shoes. They're hideously ugly. I love New Balance but not these.

  I think this shoe is cuter in person than in the pics. Love the unique "vented" style. I am a size 10 medium and these are just a tiny bit snug across my bunion, but I'm sure that after wearing them a couple times, I'll be able to break them in. Definitely recommend.

  I really love these flats! The style is cute, and I love the squared off toe and the buckle. I am a size 10 with long toes and these show a tiny bit of toe cleavage, but not bad. No heel slippage and comfy right out of the box. The pewter/silver color is a nice alternative to black.
