WGBH may refer to:
WGBH Boston's 1978 logo sped-up with Children's Television Workshop's 1980 jingle in the background. Enjoy!
ID- Happy Thanksgiving from WGBH-TV 2 Boston, 1987.
This is my only post not directly associated with Sesame Street! I got this from my younger brother's "1980's collection" videotape. He recorded this in 1986. Only people in their late 20's, 30's and 40's who grew up in New England will remember and appreciate this recording. I live in southern N.H. and grew up here. I was between 10 and 19 years old when this aired on WGBH Boston (channel 2, PBS) almost every night. WGBH channel 2 was the PBS station where I did all my Sesame Street recordings. Still shots of many shows can be seen, including "Zoom" and "Sesame Street". Also look out for Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops! I always loved the music too. I've recently learned that this piece is called "Rondo a Go-Go"! Many thanks to the gentleman who informed me of that!
Recorded off air from a U-Matic tape (3/4 inch tape)

From Season 1 of "Martha Speaks". This may be the only PBS Kids show that used the zooming in WGBH Boston logo. Probably because this show is one of the earlier PBS Kids shows produced in HD.
Taken from the end of a episode of "Masterpiece Theatre" that presented part 7 of "The Last of the Mohicans" miniseries. The TV miniseries was originally produced by BBC in 1971, but aired in 1972 via the show "Masterpiece Theatre" in America. 2016 Eric Corp Incorporated
Thankfully unlike the WGBH logo in the same video I found this, the video footage is watermark-free so, both the video and audio are real. Anyways, here's the low tone version of the PBS logo as well. Taken from the end of a episode of "Masterpiece Theatre" that presented the first part of "The Last of the Mohicans" miniseries. The TV miniseries was originally produced by BBC in 1971, but aired in 1972 via the show "Masterpiece Theatre" in America. 2016 Eric Corp Incorporated
Video link where I found this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9wR6QAlp9Y This is the low tone variant of the WGBH logo, but unfortunately because the video I found this had a watermark over this logo, I had to replace the footage with one that didn't have one so, the audio is real (from the video link above), but the video is from a different source (in this case, the same one as in #1). In 1978, The Rivers Music School (now The Rivers School Conservatory) founded the Annual Seminar on Contemporary Music for the Young. This seminar, which has gained world-wide recognition, was featured on the WGBH-TV documentary broadcast internationally by PBS in 1983.

The streets are dark and empty now
Time for another day
Well I walk alone collecting my thoughts
That have gone astray
All of the memories, all of the dreams
Still remains entwined
All that we've had, and all that we've known
Are little by your mind
I only wanted someone to believe in oh, but your words
they're seldom found
'Cause when it comes to the problems that were meant to
be shared
You were not around
Oh but you'll plead with me now
You always stay
You give it one breath then
You're taking it all away
[Chorus:]
What is this love that holds me Captive in your eyes
Well I wish I had the strength to leave it all behind
What's done is done, and you do not give a damn
Just another heartfelt blow by your careless hands
I never thought in my life I could feel so much pain
Trusting in your kind
I never thought I could feel so alone
A faith in love so blind
But after all is said and done
The song remains the same
You please yourself and nobody else
Will you ever change?
Oh, but you'll plead with me now
You always stay
You give it one breath then
You're taking it all away
[Chorus:]
What is this love that holds me Captive in your eyes
Well I wish I had the strength to leave it all behind
What's done is done, and you do not give a damn
