She co-founded Futerra Sustainability Communications in the late 1990s with Ed Gillespie after completing her Master's degree in Sustainable Development. Her goal in founding that company was to revitalize the way businesses view sustainability, using the tools of marketing and PR to make the message of sustainability more appealing.
She was appointed to be Chair of the UK's Green Energy Supply Certification Scheme in 2010. She is also member of the United Nation’s Sustainable Lifestyles Taskforce, a Trustee of the charity Tomorrow's Company, and was named Ethical Entrepreneur of the year in 2008.

Christopher Rose (born January 27, 1971 in Shaker Heights, Ohio) is an American sportscaster. Rose attended University School in Hunting Valley during high school. Rose is known as one of the hosts of The Best Damn Sports Show Period, on Fox Sports Net. Except for a brief period in 2004 and 2005, Rose has hosted the show since its inception in 2001. Rose is also the host of Million Dollar Challenge. Rose also currently works for MLB Network.
In addition, he is a play-by-play announcer for Fox's coverage of the NFL and MLB. In 2006, he did Gamebreaks for the NFL coverage while Joe Buck and Curt Menefee hosted the studio coverage from the game site. He is the studio host for FOX's BCS coverage. In 2007, he was the #7 play-by-play announcer for Fox's coverage of the NFL. A year later, he was demoted to #8 play-by-play but promoted again to #7 in 2009. Rose attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and graduated in 1993. He served as station manager at the student-run radio station, WMSR.
On Sunday, November 8, 2009, Rose did Gamebreaks for the NFL on Fox while the FOX NFL Sunday crew did the pregame show from Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan. Trent Green and John Lynch were among the analysts who worked with Rose.
On April 5, 2010, Rose became a contributor to MLB Network as a host.
