Welcome to Anarcho-Syndicalism 101, your entry point to the global anarcho-syndicalist and revolutionary unionist movement. As its name suggests, this website is devoted to aiding and furthering an autonomous global movement of working class solidarity and direct action, based around the ideas and principles of anarcho-syndicalism.

Anarcho-Syndicalism 101 is a web archive of theoretical and historical texts, articles, image and mp3 files, cultural items and outreach material (otherwise known as propaganda) produced by, and related to, libertarian and autonomous class struggle. Here you will find information on various aspects of anarcho-syndicalist theory and practise, including some texts translated into English for the first time, specifically for this site.

Given that anarcho-syndicalism is a living praxis with relevance to the real world, and not a dead dogma, this site features criticism of anarcho-syndicalism over a broad ideological spectrum.

Anarcho-Syndicalism 101 features collections of works by protagonists of anarcho-syndicalism, not least of which includes Rudolf Rocker, and Emile Pouget, two of the main anarcho-syndicalist theorists. It includes a section on the achievements in self-management, direct democracy and anarchy carried out during the Spanish Revolution of 1936.

This site also looks at issues such as racism, sexism, homophobia and nationalist culture, examining them not only as problems in and of themselves, but as obstacles to working class solidarity. Needless to say, included in this examination are ways and means of overcoming them. This section will also examine efforts to overcome perceived conflicts between workers' rights and environmental concerns. We will also focus on other matters which affect working people such as housing and transit issues.

Anarcho-Syndicalism 101 is one hub of several for autonomous workers' movements movements around the world. The site features a Syndicalist Directory, as well as a newswire, where visitors to the site can make announcements and calls for solidarity. For further discussion this site features an area where visitors can subscribe to a variety of anarcho-syndicalist email lists, and a web-based forum.

For the first time visitor, this site features the Anarcho-Syndicalist FAQ.

Anarcho-Syndicalism 101 is constantly under development. Please come back soon to view new additions and changes to the site.

Organize and fight against all repression and exploitation!

The workers of Tunisia have confronted the old dictatorship and now workers, unemployed and students are confronting the Mubarak Regime. The workers and students in Egypt and Tunisia are an inspiration to the world wide working class movement!

They are demonstrating once again the power ordinary people have to make change by own forces. The International Workers Association (IWA-AIT) by its Secretariat strongly condemns all repression against the demonstrators!

We have no illusions about the politicians now fighting among themselves to be the new leaders of Egypt. They will use workers as cannon fodder in their bid to get rid of Mubarak. But once in power the very same leaders will use the forces of repression, the state the army and the police to restore order and make Egypt once again safe for the capitalism to make profits.

The mobilizations can be important embryos and experiences for the struggles of a future that goes wider than changing a dictator with a “democratic” (mascara) regime that’s in fact is a capitalist economical dictatorship. This will require real free and fighting unions that challenges the whole system of exploitation and oppression.

Workers will never be truly free from exploitation and oppression until the workers of the world organizes and fights with the goal of substituting the present capitalism with a system run by themselves that can provide real social and economical freedom for the workers!

Long live workers international solidarity!

Against all repression and exploitation!
