Students at the Shree Ram College of Commerce in New Delhi revive the Puppetry Arts community and bring economic, education and health assistance to their families.
FarMark is an Agriculture Project and eliminates the middle man and helps create an enterprise with farmers having direct share. Jal Saar is a Health Project in which students will train potters to make ceramic water filters and help in marketing them, in partnership with Happy Hands Foundation. "Project Redistrict" in E-democracy has won C2P's CASE competition at the school. Student, Sheetul Hassan and her faculty advisor Dr. Rich Demillo would receive a Certificate of Merit and Distinction respectively along with funding from C2P from President Peterson of Ga. Tech. on May 5, 2011.

"Strong Sistas Mentoring Program" in partnership with Decatur High School has won the CASE competition at the college. Kirnel Daniel and her faculty advisor Dr. Yvonne Newsome would receive a Certificate of Merit and Distinction respectively along with the funding from C2P by Dr. Elizabeth Kiss, President of the college on April 28, 2011.

Dr. Elizabeth Kiss, President, Agnes Scott College has announced that the college would host the Inaugural C2P Mentor Walk on September 10, 2011 on it's campus to celebrate mentorship and mentoring programs. This would be the first Mentor Walk held on a college campus where college students would walk with school children on their campus with the mission of promoting mentorship and inspiring students to stay in school and finish college. The walk is open to public. More details to follow.

C2P is pleased to announce a partnership with the Centre For Equity and Inclusion (CEQUIN), to offer its CASE grant competition to college students in India to be "entrepreneurial" in devising new and innovative ways to apply their class room learning to address diversity and women societal issues. Ruban Manu, second year Masters Student in Computer Science has won the CASE grant from C2P under his faculty advisor, Dr. Santoh Vempala. March 2010: Heather Grove has won the Community Academic Service Entrepreneur (CASE) grant to help fund educational outreach activities for the Hatter Harvest organic garden a student organization dedicated to food, health and environmental sustainability awareness and education. Advisor: Dr. Gregory Sapp, Marchman Chair of Civic & Social Responsibility.

Member Perspective: Campus-Community Partnership Receives $10,000 Carter Partnership Award
The program, which was started in 1999, recently won the Campus Community Partnership Award In April, former first lady Rosalynn Carter presented the award herself to faculty responsible for the camp. With the recognition came $10,000 for the program.
Mission
The foundation recognizes excellence in campus community partnerships and service learning. It encourages college students to develop social responsibility by applying their classroom learning to address community problems with innovative and sustainable solutions, in partnership with the community.

CASE, Engineering Design and Business Plan Model addresses a community need: A student at Univ. of Dayton, Ohio, builds a Solar Autoclave to sterilize medical instruments for remote village in South America with no electricity and creates local job opportunities.
See video » - An Environment Project wins the Partnership Award: Watershed Stewardship Program at Portland State University included 112 community organizations, where 27,000 volunteers donated quarter million hours to install 80,000 plants and restore 50 acres of watershed along two miles of river. Individual projects are led and supported by 700 students working as part of their class projects and so far have resulted in two master's theses and three research articles.
