Kab (month)
Kab (Pashto: كب) is the name of the twelfth and last month of the Afghan calendar. It occurs in the late winter season (from February 19/20 to March 19/20). It has 29 days in usual years but 30 days in leap years.
Kab corresponds with the tropical Zodiac sign Pisces. Kab literally means "fish" in Pashto.

KAB-500KR
The KAB-500KR is an electro-optical TV-guided fire and forget bomb developed by the Soviet Air Force in the 1980s. It remains in service with the CIS and various export customers.
The KAB-500KR is analogous to the American GBU-15 weapon. It uses a standard Soviet/Russian FAB-500 general-purpose bomb, with a nominal weight of 500 kg (1,102 lb), as a warhead, adding a low-light television seeker and guidance fins to turn it into a guided, unpowered glide bomb.
The bomb is 3.05 m (10 ft) long and weighs 520 kg (1,150 lb), of which 380 kg (837 lb) is a hardened, armor-piercing warhead capable of penetrating up to 1.5 m (4 ft 11 in) of reinforced concrete. The weapon's seeker can lock onto a target at ranges of up to 15 to 17 km (9.4 to 10.6 miles), depending on visibility. The KAB-500-OD variant is equipped with a fuel-air explosive warhead. The technology of KAB-500KR is also used for larger bombs, such as KAB-1500KR based on the 1500 kg class FAB-1500 iron bomb.

Recorded the Su-25T, default free aircraft, training in Digital Combat Simulator so friends could see how the training for the aircraft works. I'm not perfect, but I am familiar enough with how it works so they can see as I get it recorded. :D This one is the Shkval Sensor System with the Kh-29T Electro-Image guided missile and KAB-500kr Electro-Image guided bomb Training. It is actually pretty important, if you are going to use these munitions, and the Laser guided munitions, to get familiar with the operation of the Shkval and be proficient enough with it that you can do it while flying. Although I have the video paused at times, and used the Auto Pilot to do a level flight path for the training, you don't want to do that when actually trying to engage targets in another live mission.
That being said, you can use the Auto Pilot to stabalize flight enough to work the sensors, but things can happen pretty fast, and in the Laser designated munitions, the weapon will not launch unless you hold down the release button while piloting the aircraft into an attitude that will allow for launch.

Recorded the Su-25T, default free aircraft, training in Digital Combat Simulator so friends could see how the training for the aircraft works. I'm not perfect, but I am familiar enough with how it works so they can see as I get it recorded. :D
This one is the Shkval Sensor System with the Kh-29T Electro-Image guided missile and KAB-500kr Electro-Image guided bomb Training. It introduces turning on the Shkval, locking the sensor to a point on the ground, moving the Target Designator to lock up a target, what the symbology on the Shkval is and how to use it.
It is actually pretty important, if you are going to use these munitions, and the Laser guided munitions, to get familiar with the operation of the Shkval and be proficient enough with it that you can do it while flying. Although I have the video paused at times, and used the Auto Pilot to do a level flight path for the training, you don't want to do that when actually trying to engage targets in another live mission.
That being said, you can use the Auto Pilot to stabalize flight enough to work the sensors, but things can happen pretty fast, and in the Laser designated munitions, the weapon will not launch unless you hold down the release button while piloting the aircraft into an attitude that will allow for launch.
