Sorry for the lack of updates, folks. My personal life just took a turn for the worse for a short while, which of course meant no time spent working on the zine. As of today I'm back in business and doing my best to get back on track (which among other things means answering a ton of e-mails).





No new material posted here right now, but upon my command the Belgian black/death metal outfit Emptiness wrote a diary of their tour through Europe late last year. Make sure to read all about it!



For the first time I also decided to do a "best of" list. I've had requests to do such lists in the past, but I've never been able to muster the determination to actually decided what I thought was best during a certain year, but this time I really made up my mind. I decided to only include records reviewed here on My Last Chapter, and to divide them up by genre.
So, better late then never, here we have my personal best of 2011 list:

As some of you probably notice Moloken wins two categories, and it's their blend of sludge and hardcore that's just too damn powerful not to win both categories. I also haven't gotten around to actually write a review of the album (just the Sju Svåra År one), but this will be done asap.
