AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! (Force = Mass x Acceleration) is a nearly perfect iOS port of AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! – A Reckless Disregard for Gravity, from Dejobaan Games. Originally released on Steam, this futuristic, alternate reality base jumping game is original, exhilarating, and a perfect fit for your iOS device. Development studios Xoobis and publisher Chillingo have teamed up yet again to bring us a sequel to their undead killing party, Zombie Wonderland, simply titled Zombie Wonderland 2: Outta Time. Everyone’s favorite janitor/zombie slayer hybrid Chuck makes a big return to the App Store, and he’s brought with him a bigger arsenal, more zombies than ever, and even time travel! It’s a more polished and balanced iteration on the first game that doesn’t change too much, which is likely to please many fans. more »

Are you ready kids? MTV Networks and Nickelodeon have recently released a brand new SpongeBob SquarePants game in the App Store. It's a very simple yet well done physics puzzler called SpongeBob's Super Bouncy Fun Time! It's basically a cross between Fragger and the old school classic Brick. It portrays Bikini Bottom and its inhabitants in a stylized, almost anime kind of way, and it's very bright and colorful. It's fairly easy and short, but still great fun. more »

Starfighter Overkill is the latest title from Rapid Turtle Games. It's a very simple scrolling shooter with fantastic art and decent gameplay, but very little variety, no set up, and a lack of a sense of progression. It's also very repetitive. The production values are nice and the basic mechanics are fun, but it's also not all that compelling. more »

It's always fun when an iOS game lets you play your own music through the app itself, but very rarely does a game depend entirely on your iTunes library, centering the core game mechanics around your favorite songs. Games like Beat Hazard Ultra from Cold Beam Games do just that. Originally released on Steam for the PC, this game is right up there with Audio Surf in my favorite music library games. It's a dual-stick shooter with bright, vivid visuals and simple gameplay that can't be beat. more »
