A leopard, lies in its enclosure at the Dachigam wildlife sanctuary on the outskirts of Srinagar 09, September 2011. The latest assessment provides some rare good news for the Himalayan region, where a number of mountain beasts had been seriously endangered due to demand for items such as bear skins and shawls made from the hair of antelopes.
