There sure have been a lot of decisions made in the world of television reboot, remake, prequel casting. It. Is. (Kind Of) Exciting. The least interesting of these casting decisions is that of Darius Campbell who will be joining Kristen Kreuk in ABC’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’ remake. You’ve probably never heard of Campbell, but he was a finalist on the UK talent shows ‘Popstars’ and ‘Pop Idol,’ so he’s still kind of famous. BUT can he fill the beastly shoes of one Mr. Hellboy himself Ron Perlman? Listen, I don’t have all the answers. If I were to hazard a guess, however, I’d say no. I mean it’s Ron Perlman, you guys! That’s a bad dude. This Darius Campbell is just a little too pretty. -
