RARE OUT OF PRINT EDITION OF THEIR SECOND FULL LENGTH!!! Although they have continued to evolve from the chaotic grinding mayhem of their masterful "Psychotic Veterinarians" ep, ROTTEN SOUND are no less powerful than in the past. Furthering the development evidenced on their "Under Pressure" CD the band has really carved a deep grindcore trench using their low end for the excavation. Everything is much more controlled and deliberate on "Drain" with a branching out of style plainly evident. They vary the pace and the delivery quite a bit from track to track but that absolutely pulsating low end keeps it all tied together. ROTTEN SOUND could vary easily be described as a mix of later era DISMEMBER and later era EXTREME NOISE TERROR. 15 tracks, featuring the inhuman blasting monster Kai Hahto on drums!
