Nicely bridging the gap between jungle and hardcore, the way only the Shadow artist’s of the time could.

In 1993, Foul Play, Omni Trio, JMJ & Richie, Cloud 9 and Hyper On Experience to name a few; were all at the top of their game.

Two of them combined here to create a fantastic remix of the already great Hall Of Mirrors.
Omni Trio did what Foul Play had done so well; created a remix of a great tune but toughened it up and maybe simplified it a little for the dance floor.
Rob Haigh’s remix here takes away some of the elements of the original and add’s his own unique sound, with stuttery sub bass and twinkly keys and vox.
If you proclaim to be a Jungle fan but don’t get chills from this, something maybe wrong.

This might be the second mix of Eazyflow we have featured, this one thunders out some classic darkcore styles with some total classics like Shot In The Dark and Terminator, alongside few more obscure bits in the mix.

Bargain Jungle: Hidden Rooms LP – Certificate 18

Certificate 18A bit of a special edition of our bargin jungle feature today as it is not just the one tune being featured, but eight!
Certificate 18 started life as forward thinking hardcore label with a techno influenced sound, early stalwarts of the label included the legendary Photek, Source Direct and Klute among others.

Photek dominated the early released schedule under his Cynthetics and Studio Pressure moniker, conjuring up amazing tracks like Presha III and Jump MK II (Below)

Hidden Rooms LPThe label also featured the first appearance by a young Source Direct who started out under the alias of Sounds Of Life as they launched their debut the Trust Me EP.

The Hidden Rooms LP is a mix of some of the labels best and most well known tracks up until 1996.
Two tracks each from Studio Pressure, Sounds Of Life, Klute and Motiv One aka Twisted Anger.

The two Photek tracks alone would set you back around £30.00 (minimum) a piece and the Sounds Of Life tracks a little less, which makes this LP an absolute steal starting from £2.00 on Discogs (a little more for a UK seller currently).

I have missed official birthday which was the on the 10th but it has been just over two years since the first post was created.
You can see that very post here.

This year I plan to get a few more posts out there and a few more guest writers so if you are interested either drop me a mail on the contact page or comment on this very post.
Also I will be looking to launch Drumtrip TV, so I will be looking to Jungle DJ’s to participate, more on this soon.
