A track not heard much on the scene, Rags brings out its obscure samples and ten ton bass line to provide us with something special. With this track being the b-side to Marka, it’s understandable why it hasn’t been heard as much, though why we haven’t heard it being played more is anyone’s guess. What a track.

Command Strange - Soulmate

Command Strange pulls a slightly different sound out the bag, with this minimal atmospheric 140 track entitled Soulmate. With soft, gliding pads and a deep rumbling bass line alongside, this piece switches style repeatedly whilst at the same time keeping Command Strange’s sound consistent throughout.

Slow amen breaks, and a garage influenced four to the floor section drop highlights CS’s ability to cross over styles not only from one track to the next but within individual productions as well.

Featuring a blend of up-and-coming artists and producers that are already well-known, this album will show Med School’s continuing ability to highlight and source brilliantly talented producers from across the globe.

Here we have the sounds of Frederic Robinson, a 19 year old swiss producer with a warm upbeat sound like no other. In his own words, producing music for people with a ‘broad horizon and short attention span’, his words are easily backed up by his production skills. Roadtrip shows this with it’s use of light strings, tight claps and warm rolling bassline. Just one of many new producers to look out for from Med School’s forthcoming release Blood Pressure.
