Mirsharai Upazila
Mirsharai (Bengali: মীরসরাই) is an upazila of Chittagong District in the division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.
Geography
Mirsharai is located at 22°46′20″N 91°34′30″E / 22.7722°N 91.5750°E / 22.7722; 91.5750 . It has 55771 units of house hold and total area 482.88 km².
Demographics
In the 1991 census in Bangladesh, Mirsharai had a population of 325712. Males constituted 49.97% of the population, and females 50.03%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 160496. Mirsharai has an average literacy rate of 37.2% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.
Administrative
Mirsharai has 16 Unions/Wards, 116 Mauzas/Mahallas, and 207 villages.
Education
According to Banglapedia, Sarkarhat N. R. High School, founded in 1939, is a notable secondary school.

ঢাকা - চট্টগ্রাম হাইওয়েতে বড় তাকিয়া বাস স্ট্যান্ডে নেমে যাবেন ঢাকা হতে নন এসি বাস ভাড়া ৪৮০ টাকা। বড় তাকিয়া বাজার এবং বড় তাকিয়া হাই স্কুল এর পূর্ব দিকে খৈয়াছড়া ঝর্ণা গামী সিনজি পাবেন । সিনজি আপনাকে খৈয়াছড়া ঝর্নার জিরি পথের কাছাকাছি নামিয়ে দিবে ভাড়া নিবে ২০ টাকা। বাকি রাস্তা ঝর্নার জিরি পথ ধরে হাটতে হবে কোন গাইড লাগবে না ।

Khoiyachora Waterfall is a largest waterfall in bangladesh which is situated on the hill of Mirsharai, Chittagong, Bangladesh . Other than the waterfalls in Mirsarai upazila, such as Kamaldah Waterfall, Naptitchara Waterfall, Sahasradhara Waterfall, Jharjharhi Waterfall etc. Khoiyachora Jharna and its corridor are one of the largest. The Khoiyachora waterfall has a total of 12 isolated steps. Due to the location of the fountain in Khoiyachora union of Mirsarai Upazila, the waterfall has been named "Khoiyachora Waterfall".

Mirsharai (Bengali: মীরসরাই) is an upazila of Chittagong District in the division of Chittagong, Bangladesh.
Geography
Mirsharai is located at 22°46′20″N 91°34′30″E / 22.7722°N 91.5750°E / 22.7722; 91.5750 . It has 55771 units of house hold and total area 482.88 km².
Demographics
In the 1991 census in Bangladesh, Mirsharai had a population of 325712. Males constituted 49.97% of the population, and females 50.03%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 160496. Mirsharai has an average literacy rate of 37.2% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.
Administrative
Mirsharai has 16 Unions/Wards, 116 Mauzas/Mahallas, and 207 villages.
Education
According to Banglapedia, Sarkarhat N. R. High School, founded in 1939, is a notable secondary school.
