We’ve been reporting on the devastating family situationRenee Graziano has been going through for the past few months as a result of her ex-husband, Junior Pagan, cooperating with the Feds and resulting in the recent arrest of her father, Anthony Graziano. Renee went to court earlier this week and reportedly broke down in tears at her father’s arraignment, and when the New York Post caught up with her the next day, she spoke out against Junior and held no punches.
“They’re in ‘the life’ with you one day, and then cooperating the next,” she said and explained that her son, AJ, has been taking the entire situation hard. “I won’t forgive [Pagan] for what he did to my son,” calling what he did an “immense betrayal.”
Pagan is currently thought to be in witness protection, and Renee admits that she “100%” would have told her father had she known that Junior was setting him up. The Post points out that since informants are the lowest life form in the organized crime world, a tip-off would have almost guaranteed that Junior himself may have been killed for cooperating.
Okay, let’s do a running tally of people we love who also loveMob Wives. So far, celebrities like Christina Ricci, Lana Del Rey and Anthony Hopkins have confessed an obsession with the show, andDiddy has tweeted his love for Big Ang. So it only makes sense that we add Nicki Minaj to this ever-growing list of superfans. In an interview with Paper, Minaj talks to Simon Doonan about her addiction to trash TV (which he shares), and she singles out Big Ang in particular.
Minaj: I love Mob Wives.
Doonan: Me too!
Minaj: I love Big Ang — what is that? And I love the way those girls talk to each other: “Don’t YOU be coming at ME!!!” I love every freakin’ moment. And I watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Beverly Hills. Taylor and Adrienne and the girls.
Now all we can think about is getting Nicki and Big Ang together, that’s a match made in heaven.
[UPDATE] The feeling is mutual, according to Twitter.
Ramona Rizzo appeared on Big Morning Buzz Live today, and in addition to showing off her sexy shoes and her kissy face, she and host Carrie Keagan did get around to discussing Mob Wives eventually. Ramona says that since this is her first time on reality TV, watching the show at first “was a little bit difficult,” but she’s used to it now. We highly recommend watching till the end, when Ramona does her best to impersonate Big Ang. [click to continue…]

We’d like to wish Love And Hip Hop star Emily Bustamante a belated happy birthday! We missed it yesterday, but that’s just because we knew she’d be posting great photos like this one from her birthday party that we’d have to post today, of course. Emily posed with her good pals Chrissy Lampkin and Mob Wivesstar Renee Graziano and captioned the photo “Me and my two favorite Mobsters lol.”

There are two things we’re passionate about here at the VH1 Blog: The shows on our network, and awesome, nostalgic photos of celebrities. Our network has been around since 1985, but our blog has only existed for the past few years, so there are a lot of shows and old events we never got the chance to cover…Do you see where we’re going with this? Yes, we’ve decided to bring you a new feature on the blog called “If The VH1 Blog Existed Back In…” For our inaugural nostalgstravaganza (new word!), please feast your eyes on this gem from July, 1988, a photo of the a few of the original VH1 VJs (back when they were called VH-1: Video Hits One VJs), Bobby Rivers, Roger Rose and, oh yeah, Rosie O’Donnell.
And since everyone already knows that the first ever video to be played on MTV was “Video Killed The Radio Star,” by The Buggles, you might want to know that the first video to debut on VH1 was Marvin Gaye‘s performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Add that one to your trivia night and see how many people have never heard that fun fact before.

TMZ is reporting that Chad Ochocinco plans to change his name back to Chad Johnson so that when he gets married toEvelyn Lozada this summer, she won’t be stuck with a “made-up last name.” That means Evelyn could end up being “Evelyn Johnson,” if she goes the traditional route and takes his name. What do you think, Basketball Wives fans, should she take either of his last names, or stick with the name that made her famous?
Let’s not bother beating around the bush: this season of Basketball Wives has already provided so much grist for the rumor mill because of the not-to-secret breakup between Jennifer Williamsand Evelyn Lozada. In this brand new supertrailer, we get right down to it when, not even twenty seconds into it, Evelyn tells Jennifer “Tone it down because I’m going to punch you in your mother-f—ing face.” Yeah, this is going to be some season. Oh, and forget about glasses being thrown, this time around, we’ve moved on to throwing entire bottles.

They call her Nancy Jones, you call her on the phone, you say her son is trippin’, psh, leave him alone…Yes, she’s a grandma, and she’s the author of the catchiest song to ever hit the airwaves, in our humble opinion. “Psychotic” definitely caused some problems for Chrissy and Jim this season on Love And Hip Hop, but now that everyone is at peace with one another, we can finally just sit back and enjoy this song for the masterpiece that it is. Mama Jones released the official video for “Psychotic” this week and it’s just spectacular, we hope you agree.
La La Anthony and some other very famous, very gorgeous ladies took time out of their schedules this week to walk the runway for The Heart Truth Red Dress Event, held during New York Fashion Week. Not only did La La look beautiful in her Rachel Roy dress, but the show was for a great cause, to spread awareness about women affected by heart disease. Check out Ms. Anthony as she walks the runway, along with some other gorgeous ladies like Chaka Khan, Gloria Estefan, Jennifer Nettles, and Minka Kelly, who appeared on VH1′s Big Morning Buzz Live today to discuss the event.
