Introduction
Hello, and welcome to my site! My name is James Weaver and I live in Columbus, Ohio. I'm a UX Web Application Designer at JP Morgan Chase and freelance web designer.
The purpose of this site is to provide you with an understanding of who I am, what I'm doing, and where I'm going. The site has an rss news feed page that posts feeds from many top designers and websites, a web design portfolio showcasing my work, and a blog where you can learn about the newest technologies in web design, including, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery. Web Design
Freelance web design has been a part of my life for several years. The web design community moves at an extremely fast past and keeping up with the latest trends is challenging. While I haven't moved into HTML5, I have expanded my designs to include CSS3. Please read more about my freelance web design skills on my about page...
Graphic Design
I've been spending a lot of time developing my graphic design skills. All of my training comes from online tutorials. You'd be amazed at what a person can learn from reading and following photoshop tutorials online. Some of my favorite websites include smashingmagazine css-tricks, and Alistapart, to name a few.
Photography
Photography is probably my least developed skill, but I love to shoot. I haven't really taken the time to learn as much about photography as I have web design, but I have managed to learn a few things on the topic.
