Growing Up...
Growing Up... is a series that airs on Animal Planet, a cable and satellite television network co-owned by Discovery Communications, Inc. and BBC Worldwide. Each episode is an hour long and follows the life (usually the first year) of a wild animal growing up in captivity.
Description
The show has always featured mammals as the animal or animals being taken care of. The episodes typically include one animal, two or more animals from the same litter, or two or more animals taken care of at the same facility that were either born in captivity or rescued from the wild. The animals that have been born in captivity either stay in their current facility or are moved to another facility while the animals that are rescued may or may not be released back into the wild.
The first episode to air was Growing Up Grizzly, which aired as a TV movie in 2001, co-starring Bart the Bear 2 (then known as "Little Bart") and hosted by Brad Pitt. Growing Up Lion then aired in 2003. The program became a regular series starting in May 2004, when the rest of the episodes began to air on a weekly basis.

Growing Up (1983 film)
Growing Up (Chinese: 小畢的故事; pinyin: Xiǎo bì de gùshì) is a 1983 film by Taiwanese filmmaker Chen Kunhou. The screenplay was the first collaboration between Hou Hsiao-hsien and Chu T'ien-wen. The film made the young star, Doze Niu, "a pop icon and tagged him with a rebellious image."
Growing Up was the film that "first attracted broad critical and popular attention to the movement" known as New Taiwan Cinema. It "established some of the movement's key stylistic approaches and narrative concerns, with its subdued manner in relating the story of an adolescent boy grappling with everyday pangs amid Taiwan's fraught provincial context." The film was selected as the Taiwanese entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 56th Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee.

FILM DESCRIPTION:
The Meaning of Life is without a doubt the most tasteless of the Monty Python feature films; it also happens to be one of the funniest. Life's questions are "answered" in a series of outrageous vignettes, beginning with a pre-credits sequence at a staid London insurance company which transforms before our eyes into a pirate ship. One of our favorite bits involve the National Health doctors who try to claim a healthy liver from a still-living donor, pointing out that there's nothing in his contract preventing this. And of course, there's the scene with the world's most voracious glutton, who brings the art of vomiting to new heights before his spectacular demise. Be warned: though hilarious, this may be the grossest bit of comedy filmmaking ever conceived (there aren't enough words in the world to describe it in detail!). Loyal Pythonites Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin star in The Meaning of Life and share writing responsibilities, while Jones is in the director's chair this time out.

Added are three unrelated skits placed in the beginning, middle and end.

We were all kids once, each of us with our own history which started in childhood and stays with us throughout life. The reason for this, is that in terms of the formation of our personalities, our childhood is the most important period. During this period we are susceptible and sensitive to the influence of our parents, family environment, parenting styles and the role that is given to us. Our childhood experience performs like a filter through which we perceive the world.

PLOT: The stages of life are told through multiple sketches and songs by the British comedy troupe. The seven parts of life cover birth, growing up, war, middle age, organ transplants, old age and death. Not all stages are singular: "Part I: The Miracle of Birth" is from the perspective of an ignored woman in labor, and of a Roman Catholic couple with too many children, and "Part VII: Death" encompasses a funeral and heaven. Added are three unrelated skits placed in the beginning, middle and end.

Growing Up...
Growing Up... is a series that airs on Animal Planet, a cable and satellite television network co-owned by Discovery Communications, Inc. and BBC Worldwide. Each episode is an hour long and follows the life (usually the first year) of a wild animal growing up in captivity.
Description
The show has always featured mammals as the animal or animals being taken care of. The episodes typically include one animal, two or more animals from the same litter, or two or more animals taken care of at the same facility that were either born in captivity or rescued from the wild. The animals that have been born in captivity either stay in their current facility or are moved to another facility while the animals that are rescued may or may not be released back into the wild.
The first episode to air was Growing Up Grizzly, which aired as a TV movie in 2001, co-starring Bart the Bear 2 (then known as "Little Bart") and hosted by Brad Pitt. Growing Up Lion then aired in 2003. The program became a regular series starting in May 2004, when the rest of the episodes began to air on a weekly basis.
