The visuals contain the same amount of richness and detail as the soundtrack does, having a visual counterpart to every little sound or frequency range in the song. Alex Rutterford (who had previously created an unofficial video for the Tri Repetae track "Eutow" as part of a Channel 4 music programme in 2001) claims the idea for the "Gantz Graf" video came during one of his LSD trips. The Graf Zeppelin ruled the uncluttered skies like no other monarch could. The sight of the silver ship gliding over head brought crowds of people streaming from their houses and into the streets. No other aircraft in history , with the possible exception of the Spirit of St. Louis, has been the focus of so much admiration by so many people. The Graf Zeppelin was Dr. Eckner's crowning achievement in the concept of the zeppelin. Even though the Hindenburg and the Graf Zeppelin II would be technologically superior to the Graf Zeppelin, no other air ship would be so loved by nearly all the world. The size of the Graf was dictated only by the inner dimensions of the construction hanger. When completed, the airship was 100 feet in diameter, and 110 feet high including the gondola bumpers, bringing her within TWO FEET of the rafters of her shed. Many new innovations were incorporated into the Graf Zeppelin during her construction in Factory Shed number II in Friedrichshafen. The most revolutionary of the innovations was the inclusion of a new fuel system for the engines. Previously, all airships had used engines that burned either gasoline or diesel fuel. The main problem with using a liquid fuel was that as you burned off the gas or diesel, you lost weight, and as you lost weight, you had to vent off hydrogen to keep from floating up. This had been a problem that had plagued zeppelins since the beginning, but was solved in the building of the Graf. The Graf had special gas <b>...</b>

EDITED FOR EVERT FANS: Steffi was at her very best, having won 48 straight sets since Nov '88 and only dropped 10 games in 4 matches prior to the final. Chris was well past her prime at 34 but was ready for the battle on her home court in Boca Raton. This is the only 3-set match they played, and is a much better representation of the Evert/Graf rivalry than their last confrontation at Wimbledon. Chris had played only 4 matches since April before that Wimbledon, so she was far from match tough & was not prepared to give Graf a fight worthy of their dynamics. But here's the match where fireworks were on display from both players. The crowd was chanting 'Steffi' or 'Chrissie' depending on where you sat, and many linecall dramas interrupted play. Chris went into her ONLY career 'Jimmy Connors storming the chair' style moment!! So this is required viewing for Chrissie fans, despite having to take a tough loss. She didn't have the concentration, hunger, fearlessness, and undistractability of her younger years... but as this match shows, the Evert/Graf rivalry had absolutely stunning potential. (This match was played on hard court...the brown color makes it look like clay)

From Jane's WWII Fighters Walter Krupinski, known to his comrades as "Graf" ("Count"), first saw combat against the RAF on the Western Front. Transferring to the east, his victories soon started to mount and in October 1942, he became a commander in the legendary Jagdgeschwader 52 (JG 52) wing. A year later his victories reached 150. He was one of JG 52's elite fighter pilots, becoming Staffelkapitan of 7. Staffel in the spring of 1943. In March 1944, with 177 victories to his name, he returned to Germany to take command of II./JG 11. Flying high altitude Bf 109s, he chalked up another 12 victories before being wounded. From September 1944 to March 1945 he led III./JG 26, during which his unit participated in the Ardennes Offensive. Krupinski is one of the few living aces to have flown the long-nosed Fw190D in combat. He finished the war flying with Adolf Galland's famous Jagdverband 44 (JV 44), a squadron of experts flying the revolutionary Me 262 jet fighter. He was one of the most successful pilots flying on both the Russian and Western Fronts. By the end of his career, he was credited with 197 aerial victories and held the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves. He was also an exceptional leader who taught many young fighter pilots their trade, including Erich Hartmann. In 1100 missions, he never lost a wingman.

Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf support the Rule Change for 10 and Under Tennis. With thanks to the United States Tennis Association (USTA) for the use of this video. The USTA has teamed up with Andre Agassi and Stefanie Graf to encourage children to get healthy, active and into the game through the USTA's 10 and Under Tennis programme. The collaboration will launch a new commercial that will air during the Olympus US Open Series and the US Open. The 30-second commercial, which is titled Story Time, promotes the 10-and-Under rule change that the ITF approved at their AGM in 2010 and the USTA's 10-and-Under programme that follows the rule by providing kids with an easy way to participate in tennis by highlighting the advantages of smaller courts, shorter rackets, slower-bouncing balls and simplified scoring -- all designed to make tennis easier and more fun from the first time kids play. The campaign aims to increase youth participation and generate awareness among parents who want their young children to have fun while learning how to play tennis. The USTA's 10-and-Under Tennis programme is similar to Tennis10s, the official International Tennis Federation (ITF) format for introducing tennis to 10-and-Under players worldwide. From January 2012 the new rule mandates that all 10-and-Under competition will be played on smaller courts with slower balls. The traditional yellow ball will no longer be permitted. Graf

Graf is a historical German noble title equal in rank to a count (derived from the Latin Comes, with a history of its own) or a British earl (an Anglo-Saxon title akin to the Viking title Jarl). A derivation ultimately from the Greek verb graphein 'to write' may be fanciful: Paul the Deacon wrote in Latin ca 790: "the count of the Bavarians that they call gravio who governed Bauzanum and other strongholds…" (Historia Langobardorum, V.xxxvi); this may be read to make the term a Germanic one, but by then using Latin terms was quite common.

Since August 1919, in Germany, Graf and all other titles are considered a part of the name. The comital title Graf has of course also been used by German-speakers (as official or vernacular language), also in Austria and other Habsburg crown lands (mainly Slavic and Hungary), in Liechtenstein and much of Switzerland.

A Graf (Count) ruled over a territory known as a Grafschaft, literally 'countship' (also rendered as 'county').

The comital titles awarded in the Holy Roman Empire often related to the jurisdiction or domain of responsibility and represented special concessions of authority or rank. Only the more important titles remained in use until modern times. Many Counts were titled Graf without any additional qualification.

Reichsgraf, Gefürsteter Graf

A Reichsgraf was a nobleman whose title of count was conferred or confirmed by the Holy Roman Emperor, and literally meant "count of the (Holy Roman) Empire". Since the feudal era any count whose territory lay within the Empire and was under the immediate jurisdiction of the Emperor with a shared vote in the Reichstag came to be considered a member of the "upper nobility" (Hochadel) in Germany, along with princes (Fürsten), dukes (Herzöge), electors, and the emperor himself. A count who was not a Reichsgraf was apt to possess only a "mediate" fief (Afterlehen) — he was subject to an immediate prince of the empire, such as a duke or elector.

However, the Holy Roman Emperors also occasionally granted the title of Reichsgraf to subjects and foreigners who did not possess and were not granted immediate territories — or, sometimes, any territory at all. When the Nahegau (a countship named after the river Nahe) split into two parts in 1113, the counts of the two parts called themselves Wildgraves and Raugraves, respectively. They were named after the geographic properties of their territories: Wildgrave (; ), after Wald ("forest"), Raugrave (; ), after the rough (i.e. mountainous) terrain. The first Raugrave was Count Emich I (died 1172). The dynasty died out in the 18th century. The title was taken over after Charles I Louis, Elector Palatine purchased the estates, and after 1667 was owned by the children from the Elector's bigamous (morganatic) second marriage to Charles's wife, Marie Luise von Degenfeld. Altgrave (, "old count") was a title used by the counts of Lower Salm to distinguish themselves from the Wild- and Rhinegraves of Upper Salm, since Lower Salm was the senior branch of the family.

Other uses

Furthermore, the term -graf occurs in various office titles which did not attain nobiliary status, but were either held as a sinecure by nobleman or courtiers, or by those who remained functional officials, such as the Deichgraf (in a polder management organism).
