  • Labour Women’s Leadership, a special issue of Labour History, May 2013. ‘Leadership’ has attracted recent attention in the fields of management, sociology, and politics. But few existing studies of ‘leadership’ consider the relationship between ‘class’, ‘gender’, and ‘leadership’. Fewer still bring an historical consciousness to the changing relations between ‘leaders’ and ‘led’. This special issue of Labour History will grant the activity of labour women leaders greater historical prominence. The deadline for proposals has passed. Final papers of no more than 9,000 words including footnotes are due 1 January 2012 and will be sent out for peer-review. For more information, email Jackie Dickenson (jackied@unimelb.edu.au).
  • Insurgency and Resistance.
