New release. Companion CD to the reissued “No Sweat” album. Before getting signed to a major label in 1979, Loaded Dice recorded more than 100 original songs between 1976 and 1979. This CD has 28 of those songs and are all filled with 60′s beat and 70′s power pop sounds. Available on Ebay or at www.zerohourrecords.com.au $9.95+ shipping
Here it is boys & girls. I’ve had this locked in a shoebox since 1986. The first video clip for the single “At First Sight – Violets Are Blue”. The story behind this is simply Dom didn’t like it as he thought it made him look older than the others (he was) and decided to shelve it. They went on to redo another clip with a super8 camera which is cool but not as cool as this clip. Enjoy this piece of Western Australian music history. www.zerohourrecords.com.au
If you bought the Loaded Dice re-issue CD then you may want to see the video clip for Mam’selle. The clip for their second single “Telephone” is up at my YouTube page as well.
Here is Chalice miming to their final single on an Australian television show called Chopper Squad. Thanks to Chris Keating for sharing this with me. Great stuff. Go to my YouTube site for more cool videos, just search for zerohouraustralia. Enjoy
Hi everyone. Just a quick note to let you know that the Loaded Dice CD reissue is now available to buy at www.zerohourrecords.com.au
I got some sad news today that George Heathcote, frontman for the great Chalice lost his battle with cancer this morning. I am working on releasing their complete anthology on CD early next year.
R.I.P. George
