OSCE completes Croatia mandate

The OSCE flag is lowered in the Croatian capital, marking the formal closure of the OSCE's office, Zagreb, 17 January 2012.
The formal closure of the OSCE Office in Zagreb is a real success story for the Organization – and for Croatia, which has signed a treaty to join the European Union next year.

18th OSCE Ministerial Council

The 18th OSCE Ministerial Council in Vilnius is being held in the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre (Litexpo Complex), on 6-7 December 2011.
The 18th Meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council was held in Vilnius on 6 and 7 December 2011. The Ministerial Council is the central decision-making and governing body of the OSCE.

The Nikosi irrigation water project, managed by the OSCE Conflict Prevention Centre, has provided water pumps and pipes to supply river water to the large Saltvisi irrigation channel, for the benefit of farmers affected by the August 2008 conflict in Georgia, 17 June 2011.
