Anouvong
Anouvong or Chao Anou or Chaiya-Sethathirath III (1767-1829) was the last king of Lan Xang in Vientiane, ruling from 1805 to 1828 after ascending to the throne upon his brother's death. He had long been an ally of the Thai against the Burmese; however, due to lack of recognition for his accomplishments, from 1826 to 1828 he rebelled against Siam in an attempt to regain complete independence. He initially captured the stronghold of Korat, where Lady Mo, the wife of the deputy governor, is credited with harassing the invading force as it withdrew. Anouvong's army was defeated in three days of fighting near Vientiane by Chao Phraya Bodintaradecha (also known as General Singh Singhaseni .) As retaliation for rebellion, Thai King Rama III ordered his troops to sack Vientiane. Anouvong escaped to return with Vietnamese help, but was again defeated and this time captured. The angry Thai monarch ordered Vientiane destroyed. In 1829 Anouvong died a prisoner in Bangkok, where he was kept in an iron cage.

Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain (September 8, 1828 February 24, 1914) was an American college professor from the State of Maine, who volunteered during the American Civil War to join the Union Army. Although having no earlier education in military strategies, he became a highly respected and decorated Union officer, reaching the rank of brigadier general (and brevet major general). For his gallantry at Gettysburg, he was awarded the Medal of Honor. He was given the honor of commanding the Union troops at the surrender ceremony for the infantry of Robert E. Last Friday I bought a new trainset. This set, Märklin 26561, contains one locomotive of the 16/1800 series: NS 1828 "Apeldoorn" and 5 ICL (intercity lease) carriages. The Dutch Railways hired about 110 carriages of the German Railways because of the new timetable in 2007 which needed more trains. Those trains were pulled by a locomotive of the 1700 series or a 16/1800 series locomotive. There was one locomotive on each side of the train.
