When it comes to the benefits of organic food, scientific research is yet to show conclusively that the benefits are aplenty; however, they are enough to make the best of us think twice about eating regular food. Some of their primary benefits are that they are free of pesticides, which in small or large quantities can be harmful to your health. Organic food also stays fresh for a longer period since it does not contain preservatives. The environment, especially farming soil, benefits a great deal from such green practices. The basic premise is not to feed the livestock any hormonal based food, food that has even a trace of pesticide in it or any antibiotics. The simplest way of raising livestock the healthy way is to keep their living area clean, graze them on a rotational basis and make sure their feed and water is clean and organic.
