The Stop Racism and Fascism Network (SRFN) was set up at a conference in Nottingham on March 27. It has brought together anti-racist and anti-fascist campaigns in Nottingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Lincoln, Derby, and South London who are frustrated at the lack of effectiveness and democratic discussions within existing anti-fascist networks.

We believe that for a meaningful impact on fascism involvement in local communities is critical. This does not mean parachuting in as outsiders, but people taking action in their own communities.

As such, all the actions promoted here are organised locally, with solidarity from the wider network. Cooperation is vital and we urge that anybody who is able to attend these events does so.

A full list of future events will soon be available here

Bradford – Liverpool anti-fascist view

This view from one of our Liverpool comrades of the Liverpool Anti-Fascist campaign. Taken from LiverAF website http://liveraf.wordpress.com/ I went to Bradford with a few others from Liverpool Antifascists. It is important to consider what happened there. Lesson one is that organisation is crucial to defeating the EDL and strange and mixed though it was, … Read more
