Why take up model or doll’s house, or railway building? I can choose what I wish to do, which area of a project to work on, work it out with both hands, half a brain and just think it thro. Each stage is a puzzle, a small act of equilibrium ivolving inspiration, idea, intent and ability: a little bit of unknown. If an item disappoints, there’s always the next time – the end result may be work-in-progress but I learn and enjoy.
