What's New?

In decision X/10, COP-10 decided that the fifth national reports are due by 31 March 2014 and that reports should focus on implementation of the 2011-2020 Strategic Plan for Biodiversity and progress towards the Aichi Biodiversity Targets.


The fourth national reports were due 30 March 2009 (Decision VIII/14). They provided essential information to assess progress towards the 2010 Biodiversity Target, at the national level, as well to assess progress at the global level, the details of which are presented in the third edition of the Global Biodiversity Outlook published in 2010.
