A couple of good mates called in last night with a cd I had given them five or six years ago maybe even longer ago. I mix I had done using my technics 1210′s and one cdj. Anyway they insisted I put it on. It sounded pretty good. I was a bit surprised by it to be honest, fuckin hell I did this? Anyway it is a mixture of breaks and progressive stuff by the likes of Matthew Dekay, Tayo, Oscar Goldman, Dj Mouse, Dreadzone and Pole Folder I believe. To be honest I can’t really name any of the tracks at the moment except for Thrust II by Oscar Goldman which was remixed by Paranoid Jack. It was recorded onto a mini-disc then cd recorder and has track markers on but will play as a contiuous mix. Follow the link d/l and unzip the file if you are interested in hearing it. Cheers.

Right. Deep As Ya Like #2. Just to say I did this mix for the fun of it. Anyway given the sad loss of Kenny Hawkes I am posting this as a tribute to him. Only ever caught him the once, with my very good friend Mr Dave. It was a thursday night, I remember it well it was in the Lemon Lounge in Liverpool. The Lemon Lounge holds it’s own legendary status locally for what are in the main all the right reasons. I have had some memorable nights there both as member of the crowd and the dj. I was fortunate enough to be spinning tunes at a time when this city was rockin with a genuine underground scene. Times change for me anyway. The place is still buzzing new people come along and move things on. Love music love house music. Anyway this for Kenny with music from Art Bleek, Guti, Karil xv11 & MB Valence, Francois Du Bois, Budai & Vic, Bas Amro, Moody Manc & Simuck.
