In response to ongoing abuses of women’s rights, Ayaan Hirsi Ali and her supporters established the AHA Foundation in 2007 to help protect and defend the rights of women in the West from oppression justified by religion and culture.
Issues
The AHA Foundation focuses on a number of specific crimes and forms of oppression of women and girls that are justified by religion and culture.
Recognition
We are pleased to announce that on November 17th, the AHA Foundation was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the U.S. State Department for our support and guidance in assisting victims of forced marriage.
