Van Halen tour dates and album title revealed

Japanese pressing of Van Halen\'s single disc Best Of Vol. 1 (originally released in 1996) featuring one bonus track: \'Hot For Teacher\'. It’s official. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Van Halen made the official tour 2012 announcement and revealed the February 7th release date for their new album ‘A Different Kind of Truth’ during a performance at Café Wha? in New York City on Thursday, January 5th.
The new Van Halen tour with original singer David Lee Roth will kick off on February 18th at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, KY. Kool & The Gang has also been announced as a special guest for select tour dates.
Tickets for the Live Nation-promoted tour go on sale beginning January 14 at Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com. VIP Packages will also be available through VIP Nation, including premium seats, exclusive merchandise and more.
‘A Different Kind Of Truth’ will be released in the U.S. by Interscope Records and the first single "Tattoo" (and its accompanying video) will be debut simultaneously on Tuesday, January 10th. Album pre-orders will also start on January 10th. It is Van Halen's first original studio album with singer David Lee Roth since the band’s classic multi-platinum album 1984.
During the tour, fans can expect Van Halen to perform selections from ‘A Different Kind Of Truth’ along with their epic hits that include: "Eruption," "Running with the Devil," "Jamie's Cryin'," "You Really Got Me," "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love,” "Everybody Wants Some," "Unchained," "And The Cradle Will Rock,” "Beautiful Girls,” "Mean Street," "Somebody Get Me A Doctor,” "Jump," “Panama," "Hot For Teacher," "I'll Wait."
