Finally available for public consumption, Solar Empire's 'The Secrets Of Time' LP is upon us! You can have a listen to it in the 'Music' section of the site, and head over to the store and add it to your cart if you like what you hear.

The good news doesn't stop there, as COV028 (Polar / Method One) is out on 12" vinyl this week. You should be able to pick up copies from all good retailers, and MP3's should follow within a month at the very max.

Sci-Files Volume Five has been released! Check out the soundclips on the music page, and you can click the store link on the left column to head over there and grab your copy! In other news, COV028 is on TP, and we'll be receiving them shortly to OK. With any luck, this should be going straight to final artwork copies, and be out within a month tops. More news on it soon!

There's now videos for every Sci-Files track, except one. Simply goto Music > MP3, then click the press release for Volumes 1-4, and you'll find some pretty cool videos, courtesy of YouTube members, numnuts1010 & legacyofarcon2. Big thanks once again guys.

Two brand new MP3 releases were released this week. Global Connections - Volume 5: Rhythm Surveillance, and Sci-Files. Volume Four. Some amazing music to be had on both compilations, so check them out on the music page, and if you like what you hear, head over to the store to grab yourself a copy now!

COV027 (ASC / ASC & Chris J) has been out on full vinyl release for a few weeks now, and is damaging dancefloors everywhere! Don't miss out on this, as we don't repress very often. COV028 (Polar / Method One) will be sent to mastering very soon.

On the digital tip, Global Connections 5 is just around the corner, and so is Sci-Files Vol 4. Full updates about these very soon.

The Mindspan LP is available from the store now. Click the link in the nav column to go there and purchase a copy. It's limited edition, and won't be repressed, so you only have one chance to own a physical copy of it.

Coming next we have Global Connections - Volume 4 on MP3 release, aswell as the vinyl release of ASC's Windchime Remix, backed with his collaboration with Chris J - IDEM. More news on both very soon.

Merchandise is on the way aswell, we haven't forgotten about that! We're tying that in to a complete redesign of the labels image, which we will reveal some stage soon.

Covert Operations have just signed a new distribution deal with Load Media, who wil be exclusively distributing our records from this point onwards. There have been a few changes to the schedule, and the overall label structure, so read on.

Unfortunately, it's not all good news, as selling vinyl in the current climate is proving to be tricky for all labels right now, so we've had to downsize, meaning the Cov Ops Ltd label is now defunct.

Here's what you can look forward to next:

COV027 - ASC - Windchime (Remix) / ASC & Chris J - IDEM

Kicking off things with Load Media in style, we have the anthemic Windchime brought right up to date, with a stunning remix. This has been doing the rounds for a while now, and finally sees a release. Backing it up, is the smooth pressure of IDEM. ASC & Chris J join forces to make a mesmorising tune versatile enough for home listening, and to make the speakers pound.

On the CD front, we have COVCD005 - Mindspan - The Aeon Expanse

Coming very soon, is ASC's first LP under his Mindspan guise. If you aren't aware of this project, then check out the audio at: http://www.virb.com/mindspan

Seriously smooth, ambient, avant garde textures to sit back and absorb. Timeless stuff which we hope will appeal to anyone who truly feels deep music.

And if that wasn't enough to keep you going, MP3 wise, we've just released Sci-Files. Volume Three. Check out the Music > MP3 page for more info on that release. Also coming soon - the last Global Connections installment, Volume 4. Don't worry, there will be something equally as good and fresh that will replace the Global Connections format - just shaking things up a little bit!

Still no news to report on the forthcoming 12" schedule, but as soon as we know, you will also know.

A few new things to add though, including the launch of a new MP3 series, known as Sci-Files. Check out the Music / MP3 page for soundclips and info on Volume 1. This will now be COVNTD007, and Global Connections 3 will be 008. There's lots more happening relatively soon, so check back and we'll fill you in when the time is right!
