Astrid Young
Astrid Young (born 16 August 1962 ) is a Canadian singer/songwriter. She is the daughter of Scott Young and Astrid Mead. After her brother and fellow musician Neil Young bought Astrid her first amp in the 1970s, she began to explore her own musical talents. After a brief run with 80's Glam metal group Sacred Child, she went on to record backup vocals on several albums through most of the 80's and 90's. Her vocals appeared on Neil Young's Unplugged, Road Rock Vol. 1 and the grammy nominated Harvest Moon albums. In 2002, the rock band iST released a CD entitled Pokalolo Paniolo, where she performed lead vocals and played the bass guitar. Astrid has released two solo albums so far, Brainflower in 1995, and Matinee in 2002. Astrid has also co-written music with many fellow musicians, including Nancy Wilson and the late West Arkeen.

Zachrison was born in Åby in Fliseryd, Parish, west of Oskarshamn. Her parents were Julius Jonsson (24 December 1856–1933) and Eleonora Josefina Amalia Nilsdotter (28 July 1853–1944). It is believed that Saro Dursun is currently the oldest living Swede. However, her birth date is in doubt.

This Estrid was the maternal grandmother of the chieftain Jarlabanke of the Jarlabanke clan. The family were rich landowners and belonged to the higher echelons of Swedish society, and she was probably named after Estrid of the Obotrites, who was the queen of Sweden, and the consort of Olof Skötkonung, at the time Estrid was born. Her family saga has been the centre of a dramatisation at the Stockholm County Museum.

Astrid Nijgh - Ik Doe Wat Ik Doe Who is Astrid Nijgh? Astrid de Backer was born in 1949 in Amsterdam. She has been a singer for almost her whole life. Blessed with a very low contralto voice, she has her own unique sound. After several years of professional singing lessons and performing in several bands, (including two English singles), in 1974 she recorded 'Ik doe wat ik doe' (I do what I do), which became a big hit in the Netherlands. The lyrics were written by her ex-husband Lennaert Nijgh, and the music by Astrid herself. Lennaert and Astrid kept on working together for a long time, with Lennaert providing lyrics for many songs on many of Astrids albums. Since 1980 Astrid has been performing songs with her own lyrics, in her very own, unique way. After productions with other well known Dutch artists, she has stayed out of the recording business for some years. Music by Cat Stevens 'Oh Very Young' released on his 1974 album Buddha and the Chocolate Box. John Lennon met Sutcliffe in the later part of the 1950s when they were both studying at the Liverpool College of Art, and according to Lennon, Sutcliffe had a "marvellous art portfolio", and was a seriously talented painter who was one of the "stars" of the school. They became best of friends and John persuaded Stu to buy a Höfner 500/5 model, known in Europe as a President bass with the money he had won in a John Moore art exhibition. In May 1960, Stu joined John, Paul and George (then known as The Silver Beetles). Stu's playing style was later described as elementary, mostly sticking to root notes of chords. In Hamburg 1960 when the Beatles first played at the Indra Club his stature grew after he began wearing dark Ray-Ban sunglasses and tight trousers. Sutcliffe's high spot each evening was singing "Love Me Tender", which drew more applause than the other Beatles songs. Astrid Kirchherr was born in 1938 in Hamburg, Germany. After her graduation Astrid enrolled in the Meisterschule für Mode, Textil, Graphik und Werbung in Hamburg, as she wanted to study fashion design, but demonstrated a talent for black-and-white photography and was convinced to switch courses. Astrid met Klaus Voormann at the Meisterschule and shared the same ideas about fashion, culture and music. Music 'I Should Have Known Better' from the Movie and Album 'A Hard Days Night' (train compartment scene) recorded at Abbey Road Studios 25 Feb 1964. Pictures taken by Astrid Kirchherr behind the scenes on location during the filming of A Hard Days Night, March 1964. Stu died April 1962 and the Beatles finished their season at the Star Club May 31st 1962. Astrid was however able to stay in touch with her close English friends as the Beatles returned to the Star Club for two weeks at the end of 1962 and Astrid also spent four days with John and Cyn in Paris Aug 1963. At the time Astrid was working as a freelance photographer for the weekly German 'Stern' Magazine (search by stern.de and select translation option www.stern.de). One of her assignments was with her colleague Max Scheler to take "behind the scenes" pictures of the Beatles on location during the filming of A Hard Days Night. The subsequent photos are regarded as some of the best "behind the scenes" photos ever taken of the Beatles capturing them between filming in early March 1964 on a train travelling between London and Minehead (a small coastal town in West Somerset).
